The MINDSET. This is where your brilliance really shows, Dani. Your consideration of the beginner's "mindset" is such a real treasure to me (and others, for certain!) Experts in all fields seem to let their memories of "starting out" just fade away . . . or actively suppress their recollections as they grow into the mantle of "master" . . . The real leaders, in my humble opinion, NEVER lose their connection to their original mindset and grow with the intent of sharing their own growth AND mental evolution with others who are starting on their path . . . For me, leaders look into their bow-wake and watch and care for their followers as much as they plow into fresh territory . . . I am proud you are my teacher, man. You are making a real difference in my life with your lessons. Thank you so much!

I am glad I found this channel. A bit late, but glad. I wish you had a series of projects where you demonstrated the implementation of the semantic tags to show how to structure our HTML. Because i can't stand the videos with so many divs that one can't even keep track of. Make a series where you build a few portfolio websites with different designs/layouts so we know which approach to take and how to structure our markup. Then build a few e-commerce websites with vanilla CSS and basic JavaScript. And 1 or two multipage projects and so on. I would love such series from you, Dani. Regardless of you doing that or not, your way of teaching is awesome.

Well I learned about div tags years ago (I thought it was great, having learned about frames before that), coming back to pick up on what I learned, and now I know why there aren't any tutorials on using div tags anymore.

This video seems like a good place to start the concepts of accessibility semantics and markup validation (ie sections *generally* expect headings etc). Or is that discussed later in the series?

and tags are nested inside of the tag but are not indented. why?
@Dani_Krossing Жыл бұрын
I think the plugin doesn't indent it because the and are "where we start creating the web page". So because the indentation is purely for visual purposes, so us the developer knows "what belongs where", it isn't really necessary to indent it. 🙂 In the end it doesn't matter since it has no effect on anything. So if you wanna indent them, you are more than welcome to. It is just not the standard.

thank you but i have one issue and am so angry, why are you not showing us the project we are working on instead you are using youtube as an example and we are creating a portfolio website if we have the vs code on one side the other side should be the live server of wat we are coding for us to follow, am so mad because this is a good video but you are showing us more of your face and hands instead of the real project on the live server, PLEASE WORK ON IT!😭😭😭
@Dani_Krossing Жыл бұрын
Hehe it’s only lesson 3 😅 The portfolio page will get build as you keep watching 😊 it’s a “course” and not a “how to” series, so there will be important teaching moments, like this video too 🙂

seeing what you are referring to on the screen gives hope especially to a beginner like me, if you mention anything i really wish to see it on the real interface instead of illustrating by hands in the air@@Dani_Krossing
