Bad actors with a brain can make a OSINT tool and make thier own version of "girls around me". That one app just happned to get published and became avilable to the public for a while. You can bet that these tools still exist and still get developed. But they probably don't come with a user friendly interface. Whoever develops them probably use it for targeted tracking insted of "just girls". Using internet comes with resposiblities. So be careful of what you post online.
