AWD is not necessary if you're not in snow. No one is gonna do serious OFF ROAD with a lifted minivan either. For that, you need true 4x4 with locking diffs. All you need is extra ground clearance. Which is why they make the lift kit. Keep it simple and get the FWD. You have 1,000 lbs of engine weight pushing down on the front wheels. So you're gonna get all the traction you need. Dirt bikes go everywhere with power to only ONE wheel. Here you have TWO wheels pulling you... that are weighted. It's like putting sandbags in the back of the bed on RWD trucks for traction. People have been doing it for 100 years, because it works. FWD Sienna is the ballz. Esp lifted. No sandbags required. Engine weight does the same trick. And none of those AWD parts to burn out and break... costly to repair. Keep it simple. Enjoy more!

Does your AT Toyo tires make your steering wheel shake/vibrate? I want to buy the AT wheels from BFGOODRICHTRAIL-TERRAIN T/A for my 09 Sienna. I was told by a tire shop employee that those tires will make the van rattle or shake "not a comfort ride." What is your experience with the Toyo AT tires. Thanks.

Probably a few most likely but worth every mile lost. I have a different issue with mileage that I am trying to figure out. The lift and tires aren’t it. lift that van!

So if i run the stock size of tires this lift only affects the height of the vehicle and not the fuel mileage? Yup I like good height but also like going further.

The lift effect mileage. I really dont know to what extent but if you are concerned about mileage, I wouldn’t lift it. Nit sure about tires effect.

Did you end up getting one? I'm on the hunt for a clean 2004-2005 AWD, with under 170k miles, with consistent maintenance records. Pretty hard to find, but I've only been looking for about 5 days now. There are a lot of them, so I bet I'll find the perfect one soon.

Abdolutely. It can handle pulling a trailer as well. What ever towing capacity is, it will handle. It eill carry a bike and a trailer or yow whatever. The swing away has a hitch receiver got just that. Do it! Rigdsupply.com

I at 15 now but having coil issues, possibly fuel injection stuff. Gonna have it fixed and then mileage should improve. Dont think the lift has much to do with it honestly.

The black on the bottom would look better all the way to the bottom of the side trim. Did my caravan same way.

I love the Rig'd!!! I just bought a 2000 sienna and plan to convert it. I plan to do a lift kit and was thinking of a roof rack for a spare but this is awesome. Tires are nice too!

How much do you lose in gas mileage due to raising it? And you feel any difference in handling? Probably makes it more likely to tilt if you were to lose control

Always a loss when changing from the way they built it. But I have traveled over 60k miles traveling around the US. I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Totally safe. I get 15-18 mpg Highway. 😊🙏🏼

I wish you all the best with lifting your van. Glad to see that you bought a sienna, one of the best cars in the world. Just keep repairing it and never get rid of it. It’ll run forever. I love my lift kit! Make sure you always keep the original OEMCV axles. If you lift your van, you must have the original axles not the aftermarket. I have some videos on the subject. Best of luck!

Very cool. I'm thinking about my next camping rig (I am building out a FJ Cruiser) and the AWD Sienna is checking a lot of boxes for me as I think it will be a better daily (with much better fuel economy). I'm a big fan of RIG'd Supply and good to see you using the UltraSwing. Personally I like the Falken Wild Peaks over the OC (very good on wet pavement), but I have heard good things about the OC A/T IIIs. I have black steelies too and love the look.

Went to look at a Sienna yesterday. It has the interior length I need, however the interior width and height is just a bit too tight. Also quite a bit of torque steer due to front wheel bias. Going to look at the Metris again.

Amazing. I’ve tried a couple sets of Wild peaks. Good performance they just wear out really fast. The Toyos last longer with similar performance. I may try another AT next. I love the FJ. It’s a bigger engine with that jeep 4x4. Either way both Sienna AWD and fwd are sufficient. Never needed 4x yet. My Best To ya.
