3 INGREDIENTS SUGAR SCRUB | mini sugar scrubs | whipped piped sugar scrub

from the series easy skin care recipes, this tutrial on how to make an easy 3 ingredients sugar scrub using a foaming bath butter base. It is an exfoliant but as it contains shea butter, it nourished your skin as well. A very nice product. You could use a preservative if you want. I didn't for the purpose of this video as the foaming bath butter already contains a preservative. But you could add one for a 0.5 % rate.

Hello Tatianna, glad you like the recipe. You can adjust it according to your liking. If you want more „soapy/foamy“ feeling you can increase the foaming bath butter amount. Hope this helps. Hugs.

hello Anita, yes you can use preservative if you want. (for example optiphen at 0.5%) the foaming bath butter already contains one.

Hello Dessandra. Are you in a warm place? try pop your mixture into the fridge for 10-15 minutes. it's not a very airy fluff you will get, it's just mainly important that the mixture increases in volume. Once that is reached you should be able to add the sugar and have a very nice texture. :) hope this helps

Does this formula work for figuring out your fragrance amounts for cold process soap? That's the thing I'm stuck on. How much fragrance to use in soap based on the recommended amount by manufacturer

very good question. for soap it is safe to use fragrance oils at 5%. (it's not the case for essential oils, where it is more tricky and generally less needs to be applied)

the usage rate depends on the fragrance oil. this is a rinse off product therefore you can check the IFRA direction of your particular supplier. hope it helps

hello the soap already has a preservative but you can add one if you wish. Optiphen for example at 0.5% of the weight. The soap doesn't get hard over time, it remains nice and fluffy

Hello. I used about 2% of the batch size it can be less or more depending on the specifications of your supplier and your preferences.
