Loved this interview and thanks for putting it on. I'm starting to trade and it is tough trying to see the patterns and then try to purchase with another program. Also the time difference here on the West Coast also puts an additional burden. Stocks to Trade has crashed 3-5 minutes before the Market opened today and last Friday which FU'ed hours of planning and my plan which killed my chance to make $. Three trade rule also puts a damper on moving up fast when starting with $2,000. Need move videos on overnight trading to overcome this rule. Thanks Tim.

Thank You Duxinator and Sykes for another great interview. I promise i will study everyday to be prepared for when my opportunities come.
@bigbearwix19755 жыл бұрын
This makes sense. Cool part is that even on my own I've recognized the markets play on your emotions and I've overcome this. It is the one rule that I really didn't expect to happen and they do this by design and they do this well. I don't use indicators, HOWEVER I have used VWAP. Give me a gimme on that one. I've NEVER once placed a stop loss because from the very first video (How To Make Millions) Tim explains that the makers can see that stop loss and they will drop or raise to take a cluster of these. Cut losses quickly....in 2017 I didn't even know who the hell Tim Sykes was and I payed a substantial tuition to the market makers because I had hope. Hope is a bad strategy for one, but its not a strategy AT ALL and I held and it ALL tanked. I am a machine now. I don't close my eyes, but I think I'll close one as a tribute to Steven. I will not see a three or four figure loss with a small account. I am placing these notes to keep reinforcing these two rules because these are MONSTER keys that will take you out. These notes are for my continued education and for those driven to see success. If you see 20% loss on a small account cut it. You did something wrong and it's OK. Learn what you did wrong and try again. You WILL fail again and that's OK...Keep it small, keep it simple. Educate and Replicate. Don't give up....EVER

I can only provide perspective based on my personal experience. I'm a very skeptical person and a realist. I expect the worst out of the internet and people. I began listening to Tim Sykes based on verifiable facts. I began to improve by watching his free content over 11 months around an hour per day (To be fair and transparent Tim Bohen and SteadyTrade Podcast should be included. I am about 3.5 days into making a true investment into my education with Tim Sykes. He and his top students are now my mentors. I cannot recommend a single product because I invested in ALL of his products including his top students....I have to get back to studying so I don't become a trading statistic.

Small position size is important. I use 5% for smaller caps and 10% of total available trading capital for larger caps. If the stock starts to fall more than 7 to 10% after purchase, it is sold. No emotional loyalty to any stock. No averaging down. No FOMO buying for excessively extended stocks high above their EMAs. Patience is required when scanning or manually looking through the stock universe (e.g. S&P 500). The printed trading plan is always on the desk for determining the checklist criteria required before buying a stock.

For as good as I am i still lose but my wins are much higher. I believe the same can be applied in this and any other task you fully apply yourself in.

All i want to know for now is what app to use see chart. I don't know what they called. And also how to spot a stock that will goes up. I'm a beginner and use Robinhood.
@finsimple43965 жыл бұрын
Just look it up, everyone has different preferences with what websites they like. With stocks that go up, it's dependent what kind of trading you mean. If you looking at ETF's or Bluechips, they will always go up over the long term and is a great plan for growing wealth in 10-20 years. Swing trading is completely different and much harder to learn, this guy makes his money from shorting (betting that a stock will drop) stocks which is very risky as losses are technically infinite without a blocker.
