About the subway system:
The Subway network in GTA IV is a functional heavy rail rapid transit system that serves a large portion of the city. With 26 stations and 8 routes, it is the largest and most complex rapid transit system to appear in the Grand Theft Auto series.
The system is operated by the Liberty Transport Authority (LTA). About 65% of the network is underground, with the remaining 35% being overground. The subway system does not carry over into Alderney.
All stations in Broker, Dukes, and Bohan are located above ground; stations in Algonquin, aside from Frankfort High LTA, are underground.
The ticket machines resemble their real life counterpart Long Island Railroad vending machines. The turnstiles, meanwhile, strongly resemble the High Entrance Turnstiles of the MTA, but instead of a rotating arm they use a push bar more commonly found in libraries.
The subway trains consist of either two or three heavily graffitied cars and have black and white internal CCTV cameras which the player automatically views while on the train.
The subway car is a single carriage train based on the NYCTA R38 subway cars, with influences from the older R32 and newer R62 cars.

Grand Theft Auto IV (also known as GTA IV or GTA 4) is the 2008 eleventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series. The game was developed by Rockstar North and was published and released by Rockstar Games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were released worldwide to widespread hype on April 29, 2008. The PC version was released on December 3, 2008.
Grand Theft Auto IV is heavily influenced by Russian gangster movies, such as Brother, and its sequel, Brother 2, and Niko Bellic's physical appereance is based on the character of Sasha, a Bulgarian sniper who works as a mercenary for the Bosnian-Serb Srpska paramilitary organization, from the movie Behind Enemy Lines.
Set within the fictional Liberty City, based on New York City, the single-player story follows Eastern European war veteran Niko Bellic and his attempts to escape his past while under pressure from loan sharks and mob bosses.

one of things I love in GTA IV is the trains ride!! sometimes when I hang out with dwanye and go to bowling, I pick up a train in Hematite Station and back to go his home xD its so funny

Absolutely! Its so much fun to explore such a living city with all the stuff to do. Every year, in fall / winter, i come back to GTA IV (especially TBOGT) to replay it. On PC the experience is even better than it is already!

Wrong. GTA 4 is meant to be a mixture of Boston and Washington DC. There is nothing ‘New York’ about it.

In GTA 6 YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE THE TRAIN very fast like in Sanandreas + big up to date train stations Whit elevators etc.
