It is very difficult to understand the Quran even if you know basic Arabic. You should try to learn to read in Arabic so you can read the Quran in the original language. I'm Malaysian and most of us Malaysian Muslims can read the Quran well but not know the meaning so we still use the english and malay translation to study the Quran but many of us read the Quran front to back in Arabic every year. I would say don't try to pressure yourself to understand Arabic unless you have a lot of time but if you really love learning language then you can. So yes try and master reading the Quran in Arabic but for understanding, that's up to you if you want to or not

Take both steps First learn and understand in English and then to next level of learning it in arabic and its meanings. The when you read the arabic explanations it's just unbelievable, when you translate it to English or other languages it looses some meanings. I suggest you read "Tafsir ibn Katherine English" it's the best which almost resembles the arabic one.

Christians have often given testimonies of how they were shunned by their Churches after questioning some articles of faith. Even being told not to attend Church anymore because they were seeding doubts in the congregation. These JW have a similar outlook. Discussing with them isn't easy which is ironic since they are known to literally knock on doors to spread their message. Sheikh was fortunate to get less than 10 mins with them. Also: Did anyone else notice how one of them couldn't stop swaying side to side the whole conversation? A regular habit? Or a struggle to retain a stoic demeanour as she expressed her beliefs? Just speculation. Allah knows best.

Muslims worship unknown nameless God. Allah means THE GOD, its a title used to refer God even Arabic Bible uses Allah to refer GOD. All 99 so-called names are not names but titles representing various attributes of God. Christians worship JESUS , whi never claim to be God or follow the concept of Trinity, derived from pagan religion. The people of Asia Minor came back to Jerusalem and seen Paul. They dragged him out of the temple and beat him up and nearly killed him in Acts 21:27-32 for preaching against the Law of Moses. The Roman guards came and took Paul away and jailed him. Paul then writes to Timothy and says all of those in Asia Minor had rejected him in 2 Timothy 2:15. After Paul dies, Jesus is speaking to the people of Asia Minor. The very people who rejected Paul. Jesus is praising them for rejecting false apostles in Revelation 1:20 and Revelation 2:1-2. The argument which no Christian can answer to is, why was Jesus praising the enemies of Paul who nearly killed him? If Paul was a true apostle, then Jesus would have rebuked them. But he was praising the very people who rejected Paul, proving Paul could never have been a true apostle. Jesus never mentioned Paul even once to them. Even Barnabas completely fell out with Paul. The church is hiding this as they know most Christians don't read Bible and are just blindfollowers.
