I have an honest question: why are many Texans against requiring a license to own a firearm? Everyone agrees we should have a license to own and operate a car. The shooters would make the same statement once the majority of citizens have free and full access to any kind of firearm to protect themselves. There's no way they could go in and get the drop on others and take out as many people as they please when the majority have an opposing defense.

We don't have the facts but from what I've seen is that the shooter had a gang neck tattoo and the first person he shot was the security guard who also lived near Dallas . I think the other victims were sadly just close to the security guard and in the sights of this evil person .

I’m crushed and drenched in tears knowing my first thought was that I hope that 6year old dies, for what kind of life will he have now. That’s how bad things are in this country now. I can’t ever remember a time of living in such fear. Even in my blue strict gun law state I live in, I jump when I hear firecrackers or any load bang. Im almost 50 and I’m terrified every day as I send my kids off to school, or a festival or the boardwalk. Why are we living like this?😢
