Sir I had a doubt as in 2nd problem you had taken standard working time as 8 hrs and you have taken 8.67 as standard time while applying in the formula so I guess 8.67 was to be the Actual time taken right?

I have a doubt actually , here in the first problem , the worker saved 56-48= 8 hrs, and got earnings as 104 rs. What if he didnt save time (i.e he works at average speed and finishes the job at standard time 56hrs) thus in that case his earnings would be 56×2=112 which is more than halsey earnings and it seems like the worker is remunerated less by saving time. Could you please explain this.

sir problem no.2 the time saved is standard time minus Time Taken so 8:67 - 8:00 = 0.67 here 67 minutes means One hour is 60 minutes so 67 minutes means one hour seven minutes? the 8.67 so here little doubt.
