Thank you so much Mikki. There is no need to be anything but humble. There are so many great musicians out there whom already invented all this great music. I think we need to cherish them for their great effort and giving us the oppertunity to learn this great form of music. Have a great practice :)

Thanks so much for presenting to us this wonderful altissimo lesson, and, incidentally hope you had some great tones on your recent birthday. Cheers!

A trick I found for F# and G is to disengage the Bb bis allowing the right hand F to stabilize. IMO it is not hard to play altissimo . It is hard to play in tune. The high F# key also gets a good intonation G too. Other fingerings will cause too much variance in pitch. IMO if you cant sing in tune, you probably will never play altissimo in tune. That includes me.

Thank you so much for the comment Bruce. Great advice on the fingerings - I will check it! About the tuninng. I worked a lot in sections and tuning was an issue. Working with a tuner and piano and playing along with other instruments unison was a great help to me. And about the singing in tune and listening in tune. It is totally dooable to play in tune with being able to sing - lots of my musicians frinds has the same thing going - no singing - but great in tune players. But you will need to make it one of your key practice points. Sorry to go on about it like this. Maybe you can use the input. Have a great Practice Bruce!

Hi lloyd, thank you for asking, my neck strap is something like this one: BG S70SH Yoke Saxophone Strap But I have a really old model, the straps - the wire - is not the same entirely to this model, the neck support though is. All questions are welcome :) Good luck and have a great practice All the best Søren
