A lot of people say that the Blue Ridge Overland Bum Bag is small, but I ordered one for a friend and when testing it out, it could actually fit a lot of stuff in it. I was able to fit my wallet, phone, nintendo switch, Pen, Flashlight, and SAK. The only thing that was iffy was my keys, but those could easily clip on the outside if I wanted, or I could take some stuff out of the bag and put them in my pockets. The only problem I have with the bag is it's lack of organization and that the strap is not removable. Still, I agree that it's "good" overall, and given the choice, I'd pick the nutsac all day.

Call me old school, but I still roll with my Maxpedition Jumbo L.E.O Versipack. Love the ability to have it on my lower back or avoid the BACK SWEAT and have it hang on my side. Great for CCW and very comfortable. New to channel, really enjoying it so far. Thanks

AER City Sling 2 is the only thing I carry literally every day. Storage size, aesthetics, and build quality is why I bought it. 1680D Cordura Ballistic Nylon with the YKK zippers makes it extra tough. Only Con I would say it’s designed in San Fran but Made in China which is a bummer. Other than that the products are great.

I use a lot of sling mostly for photography and content creation but for my EDC non photography related carry I use the Aer Day Sling 2. Nice minimalist look for all situations. #backsweat

Back sweat indeed, I'm in the desert. I've been using the Naray bag co. Stay strapped sling. If you off body carry, or like having that loop fabric for things? It has that on a rapid access compartment. Main compartment has a LOT of slip pockets, key strap, and some zipper pockets. Not to mention a stretch fabric slip pocket front with an overlap opening. Interior is all hi-viz orange, exterior comes in black, tan, or green. Shock cord on the non-zipper side. Made in America. Only negatives to me, are having to choose left or right side and not being able to swap. The zippers are almost TOO smooth, they practically fly open when you grab them. Runs about 125.

Back Sweat. I've been using the 5.11 Moab rush pack which now retails for $80 in the last 3 years now and it's been great. But I've been thinking of using something less tactical looking and more civilian like at least for Edc work bag use so I may end up with one of these three.

Back Sweat! I had the Tomtoc but found that there wasn't enough organization for me. Especially with it being long rather than tall, I had trouble organizing my EDC. I'm currently using an Alpaka Metro Sling and so far I'm loving it. It has plenty of organization sleeves, the height of it is perfect to fit a my glass breaker pen and Samsung 22+, and other things. I looked at the Nutsac but that price is out of my reach, especially since you still have to purchase all the organization inserts.

Back Sweat! I've got a $15 sling pack that works great for me in both Texas Seasons (Summer & Not Summer). And it has way more storage than your Good or Better picks. The Nut Sack is awesome, to be sure, just out of my financial reach. Good video, though. Keep up the GREAT work!

Good vid. I'm looking for a good Sling to help avoid daily BackSweat from my backpack. I EDC a Vertx Ready Pack 2.0. It can carry all I need. Sometimes to much. At work, we use a 5.11 2-banger sling to carry tools for climbing cranes. Which led me to looking for a similar personal bag.

I’m looking for a sling that I can carry my pistol in for the gym and other small stuff. Plus one I can carry when I’m out traveling, site-seeing, etc. I love the Nutsac but really want a zipped compartment behind the main one for the gun in a hook & loop holster. I purchased the “bum bag” thinking it would be a great alternative when not wearing jeans with pockets. Didn’t work well for my load out. So I purchased the hook n loop insert. That took up all the room. So for me it was a waste of time and money. I feel like the nut sac would be a long lasting purchase but hate to put the money out and then find that it doesn’t work for me! Great review X as always. I watched till the end…heart me or not 🤣🤦‍♀️✌️I NEVER DID LIKE SINGLE FILE

Great review. I've gone through about 9 slings looking for the "one" that fits me best. I agree with your list, although the $189 price tag makes the nut sack out of reach for most. The Tomtoc is a solid choice. I also like the Cotopaxi for it's bright colors.

Am really liking all your videos. Have been an edc woman loooong before it became popular. Living out in the boonies teaches you to be ready for all things. Vehicle breakdowns, loose farm animals etc. I never carry the ubiquitous lady purse and currently have a cheap kids backpack. It has lasted a looong time but is hot. Lots of back sweat with it. Can’t really afford premium altho that Nutsack is NICE. Will look into a “better” solution as my kiddie pack is wearing out(6+years old)

I use either the 5.11 LV6 waist pack, or Rapid Waist pack, both 3 liter capacity, both $42. Both work fine, and the rapid waist pack has molle on front if I want to add a small pouch for phone or other miscellaneous items.

I like slings that convert to waistpacks. I got shoulder problems and being able to be full on dad mode and carry a Fanny pack is essential to my peasant needs. Alpaka Gear makes awesome products

BACK SWEAT! Thanks for this info, I'm from South Africa so my options are quite limited. I'm seriously considering the tomtoc for EDC items, a power bank and some cables and a small 1st aid/med kit. I rock the better and best. I would also recommend the 7l tomtoc sling bag. Bigger like the nutsac but cheaper and more comfortable like the 4.5l tomtoc

#BACKSWEAT I haven’t settled on a single cross body sling. I carry an IPhone 14, a 9” (older) iPad, a multi tool (the $40 Gerber), a $2 Walmart flash light, car keys, AirPods, charging cable, four writing instruments, and my wallet. I’m on a wait list for the Bum Bag but after seeing this video, maybe not. The Tomtoc looks good but may be too big. I also like the square shape along the lines of a nutsac.

These are all sweet slings but for about the last decade, if the question is sling bag the answer is Maxpedition. been rocking the Malaga for the last two years before that it was the Remora. Not made in the states but Tim Tang is the undisputed King of Hard Use Gear. I have roughly 60 pieces of Maxpedition gear and I have found nothing that compares with it with the exception of MagForce gear which is a sister company. anyway nice review Marine.

@@MarineX no , the double admin has molle webbing on both sides and it's twice the size of the little one. I think the only way it would fit in the sling is if you turn it on it's side to situate it in the bigger bag but then how would you strap it too the MOLLE. This is conjecture anyway because $318 is a little too high for me.
