3 Lion Cubs in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

We see 3 young lion cubs following there mother in the middle of a blistering hot day in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. They move from one tree to the next for some shade, and to rest, before they continue their journey. We have no idea why they were braving the heat of the day. Lions are normally very docile during daylight, but this little family was clearly on a mission. It could be that she was leading them away from a male. Male lions are known to kill cubs in order to get the female back on heat.

What happened to them ... The next day did you go back and do an update on those beautiful little cubs and mama lioness? I hope you made it wherever you were going little lion family? 🙏💗🐾🐾🐾🐾💗

We had to leave them under that last tree in order to get back to camp in time, and the next morning they were no where to be seen.

Good question. The mother often have to hide the cubs from dominant males who will kill the cubs to get her in heat again. Sounds cruel, doesn't it.
