I loved this video. I think it opened my eyes how versatile your palette really is. I've always been afraid to use the darker colors since my eyes are so small and hooded. I think I'll just have to play around with them to figure out placement so I don't look like I just got punched in the face lol I currently have been loving combining your palette with Colourpops Going Coconuts palette. It's totally perfect for making a neutral glam look without over the top glam. If that makes any sense.

My eyes are fairly small and hooded and whenever I use a pop of colour on my lower lash line I look like I was just punched in the face lol It is also quite possible that there's a technique to the lower lash line that I haven't discovered yet.

I have questions. Why do I have such a hard time getting shadow to show up on my bottom lash line? It just seems like I can't get it to stick or stay. (I've never tried something bright - it's always with the browns. Let's not get crazy here. Lol) And my second question is, when I tightline with the Haus Laboratories black liner, it ALWAYS goes directly to my waterline. (Like you use it in your smokey eye tutorial.) It makes my eyes look small when it transfers like that. What am i doing wrong? Thank you! ❤

What kind of brush are you using for the lower lash line? Typically you'd want a small stiffer brush for the lower lash line like a Sigma E20 or E21. That way you can really press the eyeshadow onto the lower lash line. Also - are you prepping your under eyes for eyeshadow? I personally don't use eyeshadow primer on my lower lash line, I just have my under eye concealer on + powder and that works for me. The Haus Labs liner is SO creamy that it does easily transfer. I find that anything I put in my tightline WILL transfer to my water line cause when your blink or close your eyes, those areas touch each other. Maybe try to get the liner more in between your lashes instead of directly on the tighline!

@angelaabright great ideas! I just ordered a little stiff brush from Sigma just for that purpose. I just don't remember which one! I will try that and see if it helps. I just prep my under eye like you do - concealer and powder. I'm so glad to know others struggle with tightlining transferring to the waterline - it's nice to know I don't have some random deformity! I will try what you suggested and see where I get. Thank you so much for the tips! 🫶
