So, I've never tried Fantasy Cosmetica or Adept, but these new palettes are pretty. The Monk palette's matte shades remind me of some of the shades in the Glamlite Garfield palette. Um, I have tried Bella Beaute Bar and unfortunately I really couldn't get their mattes to blend well for me. Thanks for sharing some look inspo and these pretty palettes though. 😊

I had to buy a makeup set from Sigma to get the primer. I enjoyed all the products that came with the set. It was in the $50 price range. I hope they do bring the primers back. They’re the best.

Micellar water removes eye pigment stains. At least for me it does. I use a cotton square with micellar water a few times and then it's gone. I wear reds alot and deal with this often but it always comes off with micellar. I'm soooooooo excited for the BBB palette!!

Hi so I thought all your eyes were absolutely gorgeous. My favorite one was the first one. I think that you do your eyes just fine. It’s taking me 2 1/2 to 3 years to be comfortable in the different Eye Looks that I create whether it’s a copy from Almost a copy from one of you creators that I really like or one of my own by experimenting. I got back into make up about three years ago and I enjoyed every single day. It gets me out of my issues and problems that that I am going through since my father passed away And it’s the one thing that I do for myself that I enjoy that makes me happy especially when it comes out. So as far as the negative things of people say, eh, who gives a crap. They don’t like it don’t watch it. There is a creator online that was getting hate not because she promoted Ansley rain but because she used the eyeshadow palette. You don’t have to like the brown but if you like the shadows then so be it and don’t send hate just because of what happens. Like I’ve told a few creators is there is that old saying that says; “ if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”

Fifty shades of grey books are amazing and memorable for girls in my age group lol I'm 45 and when they came out there were NOT other things like that. I can see your point but I never had read anything at all like that back then and we didn't have much access to Internet or smart phones or anything so it was groundbreaking very much needed for all the early 30s moms lol We were all bored and lonely and felt we lost ourselves in motherhood, our fun and youth disappearing quickly. Fifty shades was extreme and exciting (back then) and if I'm being honest it's probably where my desire began for the kink life. I'm now much older and more experienced and enjoy a dom/sub relationship. But back then it was a whole new world haha

As soon as I saw this palette I knew I had to have it. Although I wasn't thrilled that Adept has AGAIN updated an old palette. And they tend to do it to palettes that aren't even that old. For the life of me I cant figure out why she doesn't just give the palette a new name ! This one for example looks NOTHING like the original. Just my personal opinion of course. But I still bought it lol cant wait for it to get here!

You did have a base and a glitter glue with that pink metallic shade which you didn’t on your hand or wrist. Could be the reason it stained one and not the other. You’ll never please the naysayers so it’s a waste of everything to try. Plus they’ll always move the goalpost and find something else you should do/not do/change so it really is a fools errand to try and please them. Make yourself happy and others can either accept or reject it and you have to accept the things you can not change.

I have to say i am a bit underwhelmed by the Monk palette. The colour story matches the cover art, but those are not colours that come to mind when I think of a monk. I was expecting greys, silvers, muted blues to go with the brown, and golds. Of course the monks from Thailand wear oranges, but then again they are not medieval. That said, The looks you did were beautiful. To the keyboard bullies, your comments say more about you than the person you are directing your comments to. If you can't say something nice, then just don't say anything. I don't understand how society became so mean and hateful. There are no rulea to makeup and it can be worn however you chose. I am waiting for my Minka palette to arrive. Your look makes me even more excited about getiing it!
