According to Tesla the bifiler coil with 1k windings (versus the monofiler coil) gets 250,000 times the potential voltage across the coil. This coil is the evolution of the transformer that replaces capasitors in his circuits. It is his "energy sink". If you read patent 649,621 it shows the monfiler coil. I believe Tesla intended this patent to use the bifiler coil in oil and shielded 🛡. Like I said before, he patented all the components to his devices. The fascinating part is his primary attaches directly to the secondary at the ground. This is an air coil with pure RF energy. He is building up the energy in the bifiler and dumping 95% into the ground where there is almost no lost of energy. This is then picked up by his second identical antenna 📡 anywhere on the globe. It's travels at pie/2 x c. Sounds waves in the ether travel at the speed of light. It is analogous to two tuning forks thousands of miles apart!

i hope you can cite the reference material where tesla says such a thing... because its the first time ive read it in my thirty odd years of studying him. i love how you people just seem to come up with your own theories without seemingly taking the time to even read anything he wrote himself, relying instead on hearsay, myth, and imagination... you cant push the potential of a bifiliar up to any appreciable level as your dielectric starts breaking down. the potential between any two turns is half the potential across the coil itself, rather than the potential difference between turns being simply the potential drop per turn like a normal coil. it is bleedingly obvious, yet for some deluded reason you think you are onto something simply by saying it should be "insulated in oil", as if that will solve everything, and allow for millions of volts between each turn? which is why his pancake coils used for high voltages are single wound, and his bifiliar coil, exactly as stated in his patent, is as a "power factor correction capacitor", examples being the run capacitor in an induction motor, or the capacitor across the ballast of a fluorescent light... because capacitors were expensive to make when he was around. they didnt have polyester film, or kapton tape. they had oil soaked paper, or mica, and coarse, low tolerance rolled sheet rather than several micron constant thickness foils. manufacturing technology wasnt quite where its at today. you people all seem to overlook that little point. theres nothing "fascinating" about having the primary earthed. like any transformer, if the center is tapped, its at zero potential in relation to the ends of said coil. and what does he say in his patent about it? did you take the time to read it? from memory... "one may also connect the end of the secondary to the center of the primary for safety reasons". did you fail to see that bit, or it simply doesnt fit in with what your imagination requires? what WAS fascinating about a pancake coil was that it pulled arcs from the objects around it, rather than arcs spraying out towards objects. the coronal discharge and inevitable ionisation of breakdown always traveled from grounded objects and headed TO the coil. besides my own, ive only ever seen one other coil doing that.

Hello, Sorry, but you have missed the distinction between the here discussed bifilar coils (also invented by Tesla) and his Tesla Coils --which you are describing.

I like your video I use regular coil and i get very interesting outcomes. which video show the driver circuit. I would like to combine both theories and see a new energy form. also i have found a compress energy form.

Try hooking it up backwards. In fact I believe he changed around his patents after jp Morgan told him he wouldn't fund him anymore. Tesla was pissed. He had just contracted my great grand father to go and repair the dynamos at the Colorado springs power station. He was hoping to pay my great grandfather with a tiny bit of that funding for his work. When Ora my great grandfather has completed his work he went to Tesla and Tesla was freaking out he was pissed, because all he had to pay Ora for all the work he'd done was to give him his blue prints to his ac generator and said to take these and go make your million dollars. He moved back to Colby Kansas where they had no power and did just that times 30. By 1930. He mentioned that Tesla hated Morgan and was pissed all these people were making money off him. He thought perhaps he would change his parents slightly so humanity wouldn't figure it out until at least jp Morgan had died. He also said once that Walter Russel should have his work and papers buried for a thousand years so that humanity might understand how correct he was. In my understanding he was correct. Einstein or whoever he stole that work from as a patent clerk only thought in two dimensions even his gravity is modeled where space is one dimension time another. We won't make any true advancements in science until we realize Walter Russel could actually see magnetic and electrical fields with his eyes. He said his knowledge was given to him by god. Well it was his creator that gave him the ability to see that because he didn't have the math understanding to come to his conclusions he had to able to see it. With his eyes. In short try to wire teslas inventions in all different ways and retest everything. He never invented anything that was not going to benefit humanity. Not just throw out pretty sparks. He would think of creating the Tesla coil with a proper use for it. I think it was an electrical input not output. Trust me on this I've read Oras diary I know his later patents had other intentions and uses.

The coils you are using are not the same as Tesla's bifilar geometry. You have the two circuit-halves as a pair of pancake-coils laying one atop the other. Tesla placed his two circuit-haves interspaced with one another in a single flat pale. Your wire positions and Tesla's are 90 degrees out of phase from one another. Your geometry is much simpler to assemble, but you should really try a coil of his geometry and see if it yields the same result.

I know you are referring to the design in his patent, but the shape doesn't matter that much, he even stated that you can use all kinds of geometries for bifilar coils. I tried it with several different geometries including the one you are referring to and all yield similar results.
