The Valhalla V55 is an extraordinary center console. Is this something you would consider for your fishing tournaments?

Gorgeous and some huge plusses over a sport fish, nice to be able to see where you are going versus aft only view From cockpit, but working fish around those 4 engines would be tricky. Engines equal 300k, electronics 100k, generator and systems 200k, tower and seating 100k cost to build hull and fit boat 500k. So it cost them between 1 to 1.5 to build it. With the popularity of these center console’s and every billionaire moving to Florida there are some good margins in this business, shoot there are some twin engine bay boats going for 450k, good time to be in the boat business, 10 years ago that would have got you an awesome 37 billfish before viking bought the hull.

What’s the wait period to get one built to order 3-4 years now, I’m sure Viking got record orders for this boat 🤔

My own opinoin is that for $3 million i'm going to have something that would be a litle more comfortable for several people to live on for extended periods of time. A minimun of three private salons with amenities. It may not be brand spanking new at that price range but I guarantee you could fine one to scratch your itch just fine! I'm sure the 55 Valhalla is a fantastic boat and I would have one if I was daddy warbucks!!!

The WA feature is cool, and if you want to haul ass then this is for you. But you can get a lot more boat for 3M, although it will not be new.

I think speed is exactly why someone buys a boat like this over a sport fisher. Older people with money for something like this don’t want to spend the night on a boat. They want to run 60 knots to their spot, fish all day, then run 60 knots to be home by dinner.

@@paulmorrow8372 dude a few month ago I sat in the cabin of my uncles 61 Bertram were watching an awesome movie on Netflix, drinking cold beer while cooking an awesome 5 star lunch in the air conditioning!! We could take a bedroom and watched any streaming app or take a shower or go in a room play music I can go on all day you think anyone cares that the other guy will get there earlier lol and if the weather turns the CC will soaked beat up broken! I’ve seen them capsized save two dudes. Have fun with the speed lol

@@paulmorrow8372 oh and by the way there are more and more large sport fish getting faster and faster too! I never understood it I’m living like I’m in a gorgeous townhouse with great company not that painful to wait 3.5 hours to fish in that environment lol
