I cannot know the standard of better class because both classes have their playstyle. But if I have to choose one for a new player, Soul eater:) Easier to play

Is there a mechanic that lowers your mana or something? I always ran out of mana in this fight

Nope. Sometimes DPS classes experience lack of mana because supporters already used skills that can restore mana (before you use your skills). If you are using Conviction&Judgement well, mana can only be stored faster by supporters. Skilled supporters take care of mana too:)

I know debuff and it last 40s but after a few atk, the debuff is gone. Do you know how?

Yes, that's because of purify. Debuff you get in Sonavel can be purified by supporters or runes. This applies to phase 3 too.
