One thing to keep in mind is that keep the Cannon E as close to you as possible so the q gets supercharged instantly plus there's a change it'll hit before it gets charged if you do it the other way around. 2:37 is a good example to that

Yo question as a main Jayce: How do you fight a Irelia top when playing Jayce, I lose every time against her, very difficult?

A great question! The main thing to do in my opinion is to get armour boots early and use them to avoid her stun and every time she jumps on you immediately change to hammer form and knock her away!

Could use lane specific playlists. In toplane your matchup is everything so understand what your enemy does, and what they want to do helps a lot.

Came here to comment the same thing. I struggled in the early game vs ashe who i supposedly counter, went 0/3 early, later out of nowhere im decimating the enemy team but still getting caught out and perma cc'd

As Jayce it's all about dodging that axe, if he gets too close to you melee form and knock him away, buy early boots to avoid the thrown axe, and if he ults and runs at you use gate/change form to bloody run until you can turn the damage on him!
