You might not know this, but you actually shouldn't use attack move as your primary kiting tool. At high attack speeds, you can start attacking, and input movement commands onto the ground and you will start dashing without dropping targets. If you time this perfectly at insanely high atkspd, you will not lose dps, and you can nearly do the same atkspd as standing still, however with attack move, this effect is capped due to the overlap of the commands with the un-optimal timings.

I really love Kalista because her kit forces you to learn how to kite. Also, I think her kit does wonder for her team, but some parts of it, especially ult is team dependent.

My Fajardo turned our pups skin into kite. Tht is how I learn 2 kite. Kslista bring skip back if I kite her?

A good kalista is a nightmare. Borderline unplayable to go against if even slightly fed. I love the concept of all her kit but I just wish it wasn't another balance nightmare like azir. They're at least fixing azir. Also for any support players like me out there, I highly recommend strong engage champs like taric, naut, and ali with her. That lets her use her ult to engage or to save you when with squishy mage supports its really just to save.

It is definitely a hard snowball champ - engage Cc heavy supports to stop her utility is definitely great!

I always found her Rend is impossible to get the feeling of. Every aa adds to the damage of it but bc so many things impact it like the armor of the target, your growing damage + critic, on hit damage and the fact that at one point you attack so fast, I don't even have the time to think about whether it'll kill the target or not, wich usually get me dead because when I rend, the terget is left with a few hp and survives/ kill me, either I push it too far to make sure he dies and put myself in danger. So many champions have execute damage indicators now, pyke, cho, eve, akshan, urgot and with elder dragon, why kalista has none? it'd make her abit more popular and no longer the most disliked adc

It’s definitely a more niche mechanic in the game which I do love - but yes there’s absolutely champions where we can get similar results with way less effort 😂

Ive always been haunted by the ADC role. It and Jungle are the only roles i dont play. I need to get into ADC but damn, it looks reallly tedious. And there are no champs which really feel like me. Marksman as a role just doesnt click well with my playstyle. But this vid made me wanna try bot, so im gonna do that later i did just unbox an ezreal skin........ or maybe i can dust off an old main of mine, the one that i played first on mid. Corki adc doesnt sound that bad.

Yeah honestly ADC is one of my weakest lanes too - so love the jungle though, it’s great to learn on a heavy farmer and just chill a lot of the game!

Don't take lethal tempo anymore on kalista, HoB if both supports are ranged, PTA if any of the supports are engage Edit: I'll go in more details, HoB allows you to do 3 fast hits into a rend reset on minions while your ranged support is dishing out their own poke, this leaves you ahead in trades against the enemy ranged support too PTA lets you kite back into enemy engage while doing bonus damage yourself + your support too, or lets you kill faster with your own engage support, giving you both a damage boost

I’m on the same line of thinking - my go to on her with my play style is hail of blades but sadly at the moment lethal tempo is still incredibly overturned and has the highest win rate for her by a good amount - even at level 1 it’s better than hail of blades at the moment!
