The underframe is amazing, although somewhat needless, however for that price I think a much more of a matt finish would have been expected, although no doubt you will do your usual amazing weathering look to it in time. Nice to see you back Nigel

Yeah, I do find myself wondering how much of the high price of these wagons is paying for the underside detail that you'll never see while the thing is running.

Nice and concise review. I wonder if we can look forward to a review of the new Hornby TTA tanker as well if that is on your radar, and more to the point the final instalment in your Hornby TTA upgrade series, if you decided to continue on with the weathering and finishing touches.

Apart from the wrong bit of buffer with the spring, a very nice looking wagon, perfect for the seventies-eighties. Bit pricy still and looks a tad delicate. PS wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more running on your blue diesel East Anglian Railway??? Nice review Nigel, safe travels 👋🏻

Cheers, nice review, got myself four as a result. I'm wondering whether it might be possible to botch a fix for the buffer error with some styrene tube of the appropriate diameter?

Sprung buffers are not something I approve of in 00 scale, unless you are in the EM or P4 camp! I'll probably glue them to keep them extended, maybe....
