I would not use it in teamfights, you might get cc'ed to death before landing r

I've made the mistake of making Heartsteel my first item to buy. Damage is everything, so buy a damage item first, then Heartsteel if you're planning on going tank Sett

Some tryhard tips from a plat sett main: - Start dorans blade, W, be aggressive - Level 2 go E, be really aggressive After lvl 2, you can stack your conqueror with an E, 3AA's, and a W to give back the dmg done to you. For 1v1s against darius or trundle, avoid letting them use any abilities, ult them asap, then E - Q - W. It is also important that you take ignite so they can't heal themselves. My basic tank build starts with Blade of the ruined king, with vampiric scepter after 900 gold you can stay on lane for a very long time and deal quite a lot of dmg while you are healing yourself. If you build out your BOTRK, your Qs will deal around 15% current hp AD. Next item you're going to go heartsteel to keep scaling your AD (since its based on hp mostly) and also your sustain. I usually buy Stridebreaker - Sterak - Black Cleaver next, but it's dependant on your enemies and play style. Just remember to check topside objectives and blue constantly and you're good to go. Also another pro tip: Position yourself in front of the enemy wave, even if enemy comes ganking you can usually kill them with an E - Q - W combo. Sett is very strong if played with him nicely, have fun.

Always said I'd never play LoL and gave in two days ago, my friends have been harassing me about it for a few years now I picked up Sett almost right away, unapologetically stealing one of my friends' main and lane, and I'm loving the game so far! I have so much left to learn as I've only scratched the surface of the game, and watching your video made me more confident as I've pretty much figured out most of those things myself already I've only played against AI so far and my friends say I'm doing really good for a newbie, we'll be moving things forward tonight and I'm scared but hyped! I will definitely watch more of your videos as I learn how to play!

Quick tip, the e has a slightly larger range from the corners cuz its a rectangle. trust me it matters alot

Another good idea is that you can do your R before your W as it inflicts a slow so as long as they don’t have flash and you have good aim it will hit or you can just… wait for when E comes back up then R but if it isn’t up then you do it

Another great tip when you're against champions with a lot of dashes is to save your E, thereby making your W undodgeable if you land a stun.

Wasn't guide to sett quite recent I dropped sett after hitting 350k on him (jg only) I honestly think that nerfs and item changes were too brutal for him His best time were when scuttle had shield that sett could destroy with E

@@sol-hunter2332 yes, he used to have one of the fastest clear including scuttle he could have done solo drake at level 3 or do it super fast on lvl 4 he was overall very great from realese but every nerf and jg change was very signifient for him. At the end, the heartstone introduction completley ended the meta and sett became mostly useless since he had trouble stacking while playing jg + he s clear became very slow

I really love that his passive and Q makes farming easy. But his lack of mobility means that you’ll need flash if you want to Insect someone with your ult.

1 thing you sett players gotta learn.... sett is not a duelist... yall be coming up to darius tryna lvl 1 all in in draft, some of yall have the sense to agro nasus lvl 1, but as i q stack you realize you dont win an extended trade with my lifesteal so you try and use youre W and e to poke... none of this is good, setts not even good.... but if youre determined to play him you have 1 job, dont int... and be built for the team fight 1 shot ult-E-w-flash for perfect hit combo.... cause that is your gimmick... if the enemy top feeds great, let them but dont put 1 toe out into the water to try and force it..... setts ASSS into the 1v1 fights most melee champs will stomp you. So you have to rely on playing for your team fight, be the annoying top that rotates mid, be the top thats doing dragon while your top gets a tower, be the top that TP's behind a bot 2v2 everytime you can make a difference... setts good when theres more stuff to worry about than him, hes good when he can hit multiple people and quickly get a big W..... but when all eyes are on him hes gunna die.... hes a niche toplane for sure id take any other tank or duelist anyday

Not dumb at all! He’s definitely not a jungler, his clear would be slow and his ganks pretty underwhelming - but that said there’s no reason he can’t be! Although if you’re looking to learn jungle I would MASSIVELY recommend Amumu - one of the simplest and best champions in the game right now, he’s been my main for over 10 years and he is just a beast!

That’s a good question - when I was learning to edit I made a channel called Starduck which made videos on For Honor - the videos that did the best were the short guides on the champions - League is my most played game of all time so I changed over to this! 😄

Q reset is essentially using the Q ability to "reset" your attack animation. Normally you get your two attacks on Sett and there's a slight gap afterwards before your next attack comes out, however if you use the Q ability after his second punch you will "reset" the animation and attack immediately again, thus skipping the cool down and allowing for faster burst damage. If you use it like this make sure to hit Q after your second punch otherwise you'll skip over it and waste the extra damage it does.

GP is forced to walk up to you to use his passive at which case you return way too much damage and E as he tries to leave forcing him to Q spam hoping not to catch your E and his explosive damage is wasted against your empowered W!

If anyone thinks Sett is a poor duelist later on hasnt built Blade of the Ruined King on him. Fell off meta but i still use it and man its very useful.

I think he refers to the fact that he can be easily kited, however in the late game either a flash or q with boots may help you get closer to a squishy adc to basically one shot them with your w.

It‘s part of his W, when being damaged he fills the bar below his health. Using W empties the bar,gives you a shield to the amount consumed and damages enemies in a cone infront of you.

Setts win rate into him in theory it’s his third best match up, and honestly I’ve never struggled with the match up - but we all have champions that counter us personally 😅

Personally I prefer playing him in the jungle, because I think he's got a way better teamfight for a jungle than a top

Same! Just started running him jungle and think he might be my new main. My only issue is there are so many ways to build him I’m not sure which way is the best currently for jungle

@@moshalmighty I tend to use the "mathematically correct" build which is just HP items like Stridebreaker, Hexplate, Steraks, etc since his W scales with health

@@moshalmighty Heartsteel is great if you like ganking more. I personally just powerfarm and teamfight no matter who I'm playing, but Sett is also really good at bullying the enemy jungler, so I could see Heartsteel working if you're invading too.

@@moshalmighty I usually take the typical Conq page, but I also get mileage out of Lethal Tempo (Triumph, Alacrity, Last Stand) with Domination secondary (Ult Hunter and Eyeball)
