Hi Lisa. I like your channel very much and I"m always happy when a new video is online. In this case I don"t understand the complete setup. It helps when you show the setup as you did with the cooking site / fire place and the shelter. All the best to you! Cheers!

Don’t worry I absolutely plan to show the entire setup.

Great vid. Now, all I have to do is overcome my knotlexus. My brain does not compute with knot tying, as hard as I try. But, I never stop trying. Going to “study” real hard ‘cause I may be faced with cookin for a dozen this late spring. Much thanks.

Gordon, thanks for watching. I teach a 5 hour hands on tarps class check out my website 3MinutesMaineGuide.com. You only need 2 knots, I’m pretty confident we could solve that. Thanks so much for watching!

The 3 minutes angle is nice, but I suspect that this series of rigging a fly would benefit from a "3 -ish min" review that collates the entire set up into a single video. I really like these series, they are fun and informative.

Thank you Chris, it only took me 20 years to come up with it. Happy to share. Thanks for watching.

What tarp do you like for your kitchen setup? You said yours is twenty years old, can you still get it or is the a modern available version you like. Thanks, love the videos!

My Dining fly is about 12x15 feet. I don’t think you can get them like mine, but honestly the hardware store tarp of the same size with the reinforced rubber corners, for the price, will do nothing but work.
