This drug emerged around 8 years ago when a smartshop in Zwolle began legally selling it. Many of my friends, including myself, occasionally purchased a gram or two and partied on the weekends. However, it didn't take long for us to realize just how addictive this substance was. Now, eight years later, I know several friends who have never managed to quit. One person I know died from a heart attack, and two others who used it regularly developed brain tumors, which may or may not be unrelated, but it's a peculiar coincidence nonetheless. This is far from being a perfect party drug. I would go so far as to say it's one of the most dangerous drugs available. It's inexpensive, widely accessible, and alarmingly normalized. Dutch media has already started producing documentaries highlighting how this drug is tearing families apart. I really hope it disappears.

It's quite strange that Zwolle is a bit of a hotspot for new designer drugs. Aparently there is someone in the area with connections. It's also a city where you wouldn't expect it necessarily, more in Amsterdam or Rotterdam
@macmanmanny3983
@macmanmanny3983 Жыл бұрын
@@collateral7925 actually no. Not Rotterdam nor Amsterdam. For production you'll have to look at the cout-central Netherlands, province of Brabant. And the east Netherlands.. Both near the borders, both rural/half rural. So space for the warehouses where most the production takes place.. Altho I am not sure of this stuff, cause production is less than say Molly and X. Reason this became a problem was..... DINGDINGDING the Environment! Yes, since the producers dispose of the waste chemicals in an illegal way, it causes ground/groundwater polution. And that does not go 'thru the beugel' .. LOL. Translation: The polution is something the dutch do not and will not accept. (yes of course the police work on arresting criminals, but it is difficult to find the labs.)

After doing this a few times I get why people say it has "no comedown". Even for me, who is pretty sensitive to this, there is little to no depression or anxiety felt after doing this. This can not be said with things like MDMA, speed or coke that leave me really blue afterwards. HOWEVER, the physical toll it has on my body and mind are definitely there. Racing heart was what most of my friends got, some even got scared of their heartbeats. 3 days after use I still feel it in my jaws. I am also pretty forgetful and still in a dreamlike state the days after. To be honest this is why it seems a little more dangerous to get addicted to. I am a very occasional user, and my motto is live 90% as clean and good as you can, healthy food, good exercise , meditation, personal development work. Then have 10% of your life be a little crazier, have the ocassional binge night out, fries for dinner etc.... I have become so sensitive that I want to keep this ratio because in the end the 90% healthy living feels better than that 10% of partying.

True. Those substances are dangerous! I have a roommate who is addicted to it. She started to do it as a party drug on raves but now she can't stop herself from doing it. And the fact that it doesn't have instant consequences like a very unpleasant comedown makes it even worse because it creates an illusion that you have it under control. High Quality MDMA is definitely not a toy, amphetamine actually isn't either but it's just cut to hell and imo harder to overdose than MDMA. MD in high doses can be very neurotoxic and overdoses can lead to memory loss, serotonin-syndrome or psychosis. Had a psychotic episode on mdma crystals once and it was definitely one of the most unpleasent experiences i ever made. Long term Speed abuse is cardiotoxic, can lead to weird paranoia and strong mood swings. Moderation is key! I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. Good for you! I made choices to not include highly addictive drugs to my partying. This was in the 70's. I want to include the fact that I had a rough childhood. Though some weed and a few drinks were used I knew that I would lose if I turned to dangerous and highly addictive drugs of the time. I wanted to get out of dodge and succeed at this thing called life. I had to fight my way out of molestation more than once as a young teen, among other things, mainly a parent doing their darndest to make sure I had no self-esteem.

That’s where common sense kicks in, hoping you can see the difference. Cheers 🍻

anytime you hear about a drug supposedly not having any ill effects, the thing you need to remember is that those just haven't been discovered yet. even legitimate drugs have side effects and sometimes they are serious, but at least we know about them. research chemicals don't go through any drug trials, unless you count people taking them recreationally as such.

Anything in moderation also right? If people attracted to it are already fighting addiction issues in life it could be more of a problem. People who can use drugs recreationally and b ok same as alcohol it may be ok. Problem is many have addiction issues with all things or they are trying to self medicate for mental health issues. If only we had better mental health and addiction help in mostly all countries so many problems could be fixed. Police budgets used this way would fix so much unfortunately that's a difficult thing to shift and underground dealers would lose and police would lose jobs and funding. It's a sad state of affairs we face in this world. Many illegal drugs could be used therapeutically and... Well in a perfect world. Maybe someday. I haven‘t tried 3-MMC but 3-CMC which was even easier to get online. I know it‘s not quite the same class of substances but also a research chemical with similar effects. I definitely can‘t recommend 3-CMC. It definitely is a mix of Coke, Speed and MDMA. The urge to redose more and more is extremly strong. I‘ve never experienced that I can‘t stop consuming before everything is gone before. Stayed awake for 60hrs. Has a terrible comedown and severe negative after effects like depressed and anxious feelings and muscle twitching for about a week. It is also said to be (very) neurotoxic. So better stay away.

the rule of thumb is to take note of any 'C's in the name, and not take anything where that stands for chlorine, as it does with 3-CMC (the first C is chlorine, the last is cathinone). chlorine-substituted cathinones, amphetamines and such are supposed to be much more severely neurotoxic.

@@Ass_of_Amalek Biochemistry doesn't work that simply. Another chlorine-substituted cathinone is Buproprione, a very popular and quite safe anti-depressant, the 18th most prescribed medicine in the USA. Just because chlorine-substitution on one substance is toxic (4-CA) doesn't mean it must also be on others. I'm not saying it can't be, but it's not a given like people claim. The problem with the CMCs is the lack of scientific knowledge about them, not that we know for a fact that they're toxic.

I’ve only realised just recently, that I can finally ‘people’ again, without the need for a little weed/hash/booze to calm the nerves. If you don’t/can’t use it ya lose it I guess and you have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable sometimes to grow 🧠💪 think we could all benefit nowadays from taking more opportunities to just be friendlier and normalise small talk/long conversations with new people/strangers. We need 3rd spaces that are drug friendly but legitimately safe with sober trip sitter staff/therapists, good security and drug testing. Like a pub but for those who aren’t completely straight edged. 3MMC became popular in the East of the Netherlands where I’m from. In the COVID period it became very common to do it every weekend. I have many friends that are “socially” addicted to it, that still do it every weekend when going out or hanging out with friends. Also, the “no comedowns” part is not true. It plays on your serotonin just like MDMA and gives you the same type of comedown. I’m depressed for 3 days after using it.
@DVNGXR
@DVNGXR 10 ай бұрын
It's not quite as serotonin heavy as mdma, so it theoretically shouldn't have as bad a comedown or hangover at equivalent dosage/usage. However because it also substantially works on dopamine (unlike mdma) I think people tend to use it more like coke or speed and other traditional stims and compulsively redose.

I remember being awake for 3 days at a party and started too get paranoid and ended up jumping out of a window from 3 storey flat, luckily I landed on grass but I nearly died. 14 years later at the age of 33 , I’ve never been the same since my mental health is horrendous and suffer anxiety attacks. @@mindajukI expect if you had pure lab grade MDMA you would get a similar after effect to the 3MMC. The 3MMC is probably made in labs where it is legal to a very high purity, the MDMA is not and its likely the adulterants play a big part in feeling awful for so long. That was my experience with lab grade MDMA, was a totally different effect to the street stuff, much smoother and calming high as well with no jittery come-up., also a smooth comedown that I could sleep on. No drug that "gets you high" comes with no strings attached. I understand some want to give it a bad name but its wayyy safer than most alternatives. The bad experiences come from drug abuse (which is a common problem with cathinones)

My experience with 3-MMC is that it's easier to dose than MDMA, and the effect is a bit more like a classic upper than the psychedelic edge that MDMA can have. Eventhough I enjoy MDMA way more, I've never done MDMA more than once every 3 months, because I am just happy with the experience I had. While 3-MMC is also a lot of fun, it always creates a craving in me to do it again. This makes it scary to me. I also have a couple of friends who got addicted to 3-MMC, when MDMA never seems to have had that addictive quality to them. These stories are anecdotal of course. No definitive proof whatsoever. I would just like to tell people to be a bit careful with 3-MMC. A lot of people downplay it. My advice is to take it the same way as MDMA, no more than once every 3 months.

(Last plug got hit with 2-1/2 kilos of ice and was in the process of re upping ) if that’s says anything. And I feel like doing drugs in a setting like this, as stupid as it sounds, it really cracks the ice and builds trust, and also opens up a window to discuss the product, taste, smell, first initial thoughts. Compare to other drugs, so on… it opens up a lane to talk more and discuss things you may have similar experiences with. And hood a short term bond that can really change the direction that relationship / meeting goes. And potential future meetings.
