The natural male range of testosterone is such a big spectrum. Most doctors will typically say it's between 300-1000+. When I first started T, I was 17 so my doctors were all scared since I was a minor. This was almost a decade ago so treating minors was still really unheard of. They had me on a low dose and the changes were really taking a long time. When they tested my testosterone levels, they came back at 356. My doctor seemed pleased and said I was in the male range, but come on...that's super low on the spectrum! That's like the equivalent to an old man, definitely not a 17 year old boy in puberty! So I had to fight to get my doctors to allow me to bump up to a higher dose that finally got me to a level around 700. If you feel that your dose is too low, I would encourage you to speak with your doctor and get more specific about where you think you should be when it comes to your blood work. When I tested at 356, I was so depressed and tired all the time that I had to quit my job. Low testosterone can really mess you up. You look and seem great though so either way I think you're on the right track 🙂

Congrats. I think there's all kinds of pressure to have "perfect" results -- which is a bit much, especially when you consider that there's so much variation in the human body. I think as trans men, we've bought in to unrealistic male body standards-- the more we see all of our beautiful imperfections, the more we will see the diversity and beauty of our community. You look healthy and great.

Wow, your surgeon did a fantastic job with the incisions! Once the swelling goes down and the scarring heals, that's probably gonna be undetectable. I've seen other transmen who have had top surgery and the scarring is noticeable because the scar is really uneven and the incisions were made more on the sides near the armpits.

Hey! Congradulations on three months of testosterone and top surgery! You are a great singer. I was 3 months on testosterone the 27 of this month. Hopefully next year, me and my mom can start talking about top surgery.I aspire to become a singer so hearing you sing gave me confidence that even though my voice is changing, i can still sing and struve for my dream. You are very inpsiring to me and to so many others and i hope you keep making youtube videos!

I don't have a psychology degree but I can definitely see a change in your mannerisms. Your voice is lower and your speech pattern has changed - your face and sound in your voice is much more relaxed.

Hey, glad you're doing well. I just hit three weeks post-op as well! Being patient has been super hard.

I'm trying to learn patience myself. I've been doing electrolysis lately and while I'm starting to see results, it's taking way way longer than I want and it's making me upset. But I just need to breathe and be patient. Thanks for being out there and being and inspiration to other trans folks, Harrison 💗

You look and sound great! Glad to hear you’re doing well! Are you on .3 biweekly or weekly? I’m also on .3 and I will be hitting my 3 month in August also. My changes have been slow and subtle also but I’ll be getting my levels checked at the end of August and seeing if we need to increase my dose or not. I hear ya about not being able to hit the high notes with songs anymore lol, I totally realized that a couple of weeks ago also!
