@robertmckinnon70037 жыл бұрын
American wrestling (and most of these) deserves a separate video. Because, the idea that there was a single style of wrestling is only a recent invention. Every territory had its own style and flavor.
@DaveKnowsWrestling7 жыл бұрын
That's very fair to say.. I have two of these broad glimpses into styles videos to test the waters and see if people want more. Which is why I gave Lucha Libre it's own episode after the success of the original video that it was in. Glad to know you want more

I would like to see more about Pro wrestling from india and russia also a video on how wrestlers might choose their style. For example you wont see the big show doing a lot of high flying moves but it would be really entertaining to watch

I enjoyed the information about Gotch and being the one to invent the German suplex, which happens to be my least favorite suplex because of the angle the suplexee lands on or close to with the bridge in their neck. Your thoughts on other suplexes and their delivery methods?

I can't believe no one made this comment yet - the hamburger was actually invented at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY. People often get this confused with the frankfurter which was invented, obviously, in Hamburg, Germany.

Dave Knows Wrestling they'd find a lot of loosely organized ameture wrestling here No pro wrestling though Also, size plays a HUGE factor in ameture wrestling in India , it's a lot less about the technique

With the influence India had on Karl Gotch and the theatrics of Bollywood, Pro Wrestling seems like a natural fit

I agree but India's scene has been rather dull there are like 2 EXTREMELY remote promotions , the wrestling is shit even by the standards of a regional promotion

@@DaveKnowsWrestling when one doesn't waste their own time watching WWE, you find time to actually see and enjoy independent and international Wrestling. KZbin subscriptions max out at 2000 channels. All mine are Wrestling channels and I listed them in my scheduler so that I rotate my viewing schedule so that no promotion gets left behind. Then I share on Facebook with different Wrestling community groups as much as I can in order to bring awareness to companies and talent.

The thing you should know about wrestling in Australia was never really popular with the majority irish/British descendants it was only really popular among the Greeks and italians that's why all the champions were Italian or Greek like Dominic denucci
