I am installing an air conditioner in Korea and I want to use the VPX7 quickly!! When will Korean consumers be able to purchase this product directly in Korea? I want to be the first Korean to use VPX7

You guys need to get these into supply houses, I’m out in the Oc and Johnstone doesn’t even have them yet but Id really like to test that 10cfm on some big ton systems. lol “I can see how my oil looks”

I actually went to our local Johnston HVAC supply store, I asked the attendant if they had the VP85 in stock... His reply: Why are you going with the over kill? This is how I replied: Well, I do have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I do know about computers, networks, apps, wireless adapters and communications and efficiency...Why should I go with a product that offers almost nothing of what the future holds? I am going to school to get my HVAC certification and I want to have the best equipment. I know there are other products out there in the market however, I want the best. Anyhow, I ended up ordering the MR45 online and I will order VPX 7.

Some people still live on r22 like progress and processes. Its unfortunate that the industry is changing rapidly but still not making large leaps, just lots of little ones and introducing so many refrigerants, im sure that affects the techs issue with both holding refrigerant and acquiring it at reasonable prices. Imagine getting familiar with something before its discontinued.

Will get one of these or the battery-powered NAVAC if my 5cfm hilmor pump ever bites the dust.

On the dewalt battery platform.

You can just buy the adapters to do that. I use milwaukee 18v on rothenberger gear. Ive seen a dewalt battery bypassed with a milwaukee aswell on an old pexal crimp tool.

I got a question... can you buy the 10CFM pump and use it for small applications? Like turning the power down to 4 cfm? Or is it constant at 10cfm ?

You guys really should consider designing these things to interlock for when they are in the van, minimise any protrusions to stop anything snagging on them

Has anyone experience a power issue with the new vp87 shutting off? Due to gfci power outlets?

If youre in a basement and your working on an existing system would be one thought, but realistically you wont have enough charge remaining in the system to asphyxiate yourself or put through the pump, because thats a rookie error. But just as a darwin award might present itself, you wouldnt want any a2l or a3 gas accumulating either. Not sure if this is a3 rated but to get r32 to burn you really are unlucky, however its possible.

To vent the exhaust outside the space you are in. Especially useful when using the newer flammable A2 refrigerants.
