I'm so amazed by your vision! I started to follow your channel a few months ago and you inspired me to start sewing! Thank you! (Right now I'm sewing a pair of overalls with 4 pairs of jeans and I sewed an oversized sleeveless sweater with a black sweater and a pair of yellow jeans shorts)💛💛💛💛

You are killing me!! OMG! Those bellbottoms are so me! I’m 511 and I could never find a pair pants especially wide legs or bellbottoms in my height and size. I’m a size 11/12 (11)! I don’t even wear jeans because I get annoyed if they don’t fit the way I like! I have been watching you all day and those second pair of jeans with the different colors! Unbelievable! I love it! I see you are in Houston and my son just moved to Houston! Wow! And I love going to the thrift shop. I just like to shop to be honest and truthful! Let me know the best places to shop in Houston? I am loving your style because it’s so me! Anyway, I wish you and yours a happy New Year’s!
@BlueprintDIY4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Renee! Yes, with your height I'm sure it's really hard to find pants that fit like you want. My favorite thrift store in Houston is Family Thrift Outlet. Everything is one price each day from $2 all the way down to $.25 day. 😁
@LReddy100254 жыл бұрын
BlueprintDIY thrift shops in New York City could never be that cheap. I can only dream! When I go to North Carolina I hit up the thrift shops and they be pretty cheap like that. I’m looking forward to coming to Houston maybe in April. Go visit my son. I would love for you to make me a pair of bellbottoms. Mae just for me. Tell me your price. There’s a few pieces that I would buy from you. I can’t wait to see your clothing line. Please don’t have it Versace prices! A social worker don’t make that type of money! 😂😂😂

I started making bell bottom jeans in the 60’s. I then started making my own clothes since I was 5’10 and weighed 75 pounds. I got in trouble in school once since mini skirts were the only dresses and skirts I could buy. They were really short on me and girls were not allowed to wear pants or shorts to school. I was sent to the principal. My mother told the principal if he could find longer dresses to fit me she would buy them. He sent me back to class and that was the last I heard of that. I still make or alter my own clothes.

Thanks for these great ideas. I have a pair of jeans that I paid $200 for yrs ago that no longer fit me and are in perfect condition. I refuse to giveaway them away so I’m going to try a variation of the 3rd project by making them big on the side. They are already wide legs so I can’t add too much to the side.

Hi Angelina, I just found you and have been binging on your videos! Thanks so much for sharing your talents. I wanted to pass on a tip I learned when I worked at a jean store...when you have to sew through several layers of denim (like when hemming and sewing through the side seams), you can take a hammer and hit the denim and it will help flatten it down so you can more easily sew through it. Just don't hit it more than 1 or 2 times, because it can split the fabric. Also, I'm just starting to try the 2-layered baggie jeans...but as shorts...fingers crossed they turn out to be wearable :)

I was looking for a video that could show me how to widen my flare jeans. Cause I wasnt happy how they consricted my calf. I first saw your "skinny to wideleg" and wanted to use that one as insperation, but then you linked this one and now i am thinking to turn my flare into bellbottoms. I also really loved the last one, so maybe that will be my next project😂😅

My style lol. Long story short, I have EXTREMELY knocked knees, I need them replaced. I have wanted to put the fabric ONLY on the inside of the leg to give the ILLUSION of straighter legs. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Thank you so much! Love this video and you're so sweet. 🕊 I just feel like I really need to tell you something. You are absolutely loved beyond any human capacity. Jesus Christ (Yahusha) loves YOU and wants to know you. I care about your eternity and He wants you to repent. A lot of people have been deceived by the devil to think that sin is no longer serious and that all we need is to believe in God (Yahuah) but even the demons believe in Jesus but yet they're not saved... It is written that a friend of the world is an enemy of God . " Let God be true and every man a liar", most preachers are not preaching the truth that sin leads to eternal torment in a very real place called hell. There are too many people deceived into thinking that once you've said a prayer, you're saved even if you continue living the same sinful life. Yahuah hates sin and it's never stopped being serious. Sin leads to hell and I'd never want you to be deceived thinking that your good works of being a 'good person' will save you. We need Jesus, without Him, our good works are as filthy rags according to the Bible. Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart and is waiting on you to open to Him and believe that He is the only begotten Son of God. Our Heavenly Father is not willing that any should perish but all come to repentance. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Him. May God bless you and may you seek Him and truly repent and sin no more to become true children of God. Have a beautiful day/evening.☺️
