I tried the first one a few times and finally got it! Yay!! I have super long hair (to my knees) and I know how to do a bun for dance, but it uses a lot of bobby pins... This is a nice alternative for normal everyday things! Edit (yes I'm back 10 months later): For extra hold, stick a chopstick or pencil through this bun. If you have very straight hair like I do, this bun will only last a little while without it, but with a chopstick the bun survives all day and even got me through a short, one-hour dance class (without turns)!

What u use for ur hair growth..
@Libellulaire4 жыл бұрын
@@FaindaAnjum Most people with long hair don't use anything for "hair growth" ... Hair grows naturally unless you have a specific condition. It can take years to get it long, but no rush. I also have long hair and always heard people ask me "What did you use for your hair to be this long, soft, shiny and healthy ???" ... I don't use anything. I simply and gently take care of it. I don't use common shampoos found in supermarkets (natural stuff is the key, find things that fit your hair and scalp), I drink a lot of water, I try to be healthy, I don't use heat on my hair, I don't comb it when it's wet or damp - only when it's dry, and I always comb from the end of my hair to the top because if you start at the top and you have knots in the lengths all the knots will go down at the tips, mix together and make a bigger mess, forcing you to comb more violently. Be gentle with your hair, don't pressure it, and it should be fine. It's not like I have amazing genetics either since I have a skin condition and if I'm slightly too harsh with my scalp... let's just say it'll go terribly ugly ;)

If your hair is short or thin just use 3 or 4 fingers for the loop rather than all 5. That would help hold your hair.
@allieg64015 жыл бұрын
Make sure that the loop around your hand is fairly snug. Best if you can do it on 2nd day hair or if you have texture spray 20th first learning. Also make sure to really push the hair through th loop where the original loop over your hand meets you will feel one piece go over and one under. The 'knotted bit needs to be pushed through / under that part.

Brooklyn Welch My hair is nearly knee length and it doesn’t stay put. I use a hair stick or hair fork to hold it in place. If it’s really stubborn, I do a ponytail, wrap it up, and secure it with a stick. I just don’t have the texture, thickness and weight that these Indian goddesses have. This is a good hairdo for dirty, 3rd or 4th day hair. Dry shampoo helps to add texture.
@ladyflimflam5 жыл бұрын
Mehreen Khan No they aren’t. My hair is just longer than shoulder length and this is my go-to technique. The braided version will take a bit more length because braiding eats up length.

This is called a nautilus bun! I wear it this way every day for shower and often housework or cooking. My hair isn't as thick or long as hers, and I often have a serum with cones in it, so 3 fingers for the wrap is about perfect for me. Takes a bit of practice to get that tension right, but it's totally worth it!
