I slammed my head full force backwards on a quarter pipe back in the day. If I wasn’t wearing a helmet, I’m not sure what damage would have been done. I don’t understand not using one.

It blows my mind how most people wear no protection. Without pads I wouldn’t make a a coup,e weeks before retiring all together

@@dinguskhan9969 it depends on your skill and environment. I wear no pads because they limit my freedom. Few falls ive had were just minor damage. Im very careful skater but ive been doing it for 3+ years now.

@@filipivan5125 I mean I get it, but I also don’t. Id consider advanced ice skater and don’t dare go out without some kneepads. Considering it only takes once, it seems extremely short sighted and foolish. But to each their own. Wish I was good enough to not be concerned with losing my ability to do what I love, skating. I skated the old Riverside when it was wooden ramps back in the '90s. The new park looks great! You must have legs like a bloody racehorse from all that city commuting! Also, Lauric BOOSTS! And, lastly, you are a city skater who sucks at stair rides?! Surely not! That's city skating 101! Hahaha!

I loved the little interlude on # 1.5 skatepark, as a piece of feedback, i would go back to naming the next two skateparks #2 and #3 instead of 2.5 and 3.5, because their original value did not change, you just made a quick pitstop to enjoy life :) Also never heard of Lauric, but what an absolute champ!
