Nevada has some of the most public use/BLM land with a plethora of off road trails, these are 3 of my favorites that are the epitome of 4wheeling in Northern Nevada. Tons of history and epic views all within a few hours of Reno!

People don't realize that Nevada is the most mountainous state in the country. They just think its all like Las Vegas lol.

very beautiful scenery, trails and filming. Hope there comes more of it. Europe has much less to offer, but also beautiful areas. That's why I'm already looking forward to my next tours, which lead to the Pyrenees and the semi-desert of Navarre (Bardenas Reales).

Before the Truckee River was diverted to Fallon and Fernley, there was enough water that not only Pyramid Lake dozens of feet deeper, water overflowed and Winnemucca Lake was actually a lake!

Impressed that a Dodge is making it on some of these trails. FCA and now Stellantis does not always uphold reliability like Toyota tries to.

Hey bud! Would you recommend MGL/school bus canyon or elephant head rock for dirt bikes in mid October? I'm trying to set up a weekend trip for my buddy and me (he's from east Oregon, I'm from central California) we both ride 400cc bikes.
@battlebornmotorsports84913 жыл бұрын
Either one will be good that time of year. MGL definitely has more historical stuff to see and more fun terrain to ride in the vicinity. Elephant Head is a higher elevation so it’ll be cooler at night. But it’s a great area, the main trail we took to get there is pretty fun. The only downside is most of the surrounding trails are long, flat and straight 2 track that gets “boring”. I’ve got videos on both trails. Best staging for elephants head would be in Gerlach and for MGL there’s a Tufa formation just outside of the Paiute Reservation (traveling south to north) that is where I staged. There’s some sand you gotta cross to get to the main road on the east side of the dry lake bed but it’s not terrible from what I remember.
