As an OSU fan, I am consistently disappointed in our fan base. We won 30-3 in an away game against a conference opponent with a first time starting QB. We should be throwing a party. How many other teams have that going for them? This is a great start...and if we didn't have such short memories, we'd remember how shaky Stroud looked in his early games...and we didn't have the benefit of a good defense then. Relax and let the team get their footing. This is going to be an excellent team. Awesome week one win!

Stroud had 294 yards and 4 TDs in his first game, as a redshirt freshman, on the road, primetime, vs Minnesota, a team that ended up finishing 9-4 with the #8 pass defense in the country. McCord looked mediocre in the spring, and looked mediocre in this game, at best.

Ohio State has some growing to do on offense, that much was clear. That being said, this why the regular season is 12 games! Also, an exciting game from the defense. 3 points, 153 total yards allowed is a great start and is what should be expected vs a sub-par offense. Go Bucks! 🅾️🌰

Ohio St has a history of suspect season starts, even under Meyer, you have to judge OSU around game 6 as far as what you’ll see end of year. They remind me of Clemson this past decade, they take scares, and that makes them respond with greatness. OSU does the same thing, they play to the comp until forced to be great.

People need to relax. It’s the first game. There’s gonna be a lot of teams playing to limit the big plays with the guys we have. Granted: the QB needs to make better decisions, oline needs to play a lot better. But this is a smart group. Last year, us as fans bitched about the defense. They’re the only group that’s stayed in tact with the same scheme in a way. Offense will be fine before the big games come up.

As a buckeye fan, im not looking forward for what this season holds. Henderon is no good, o line isnt great, QBs mediocre,.. They arent even hungry. Im predicting a 3-4 loss this season, miminum 2 losses. No way we ll get to the playoffs with this type of team... Ive never liked the teams energy since Day took over...
