It's too bad they were a one time thing. Quite honestly, I think it should be a tradition and there should, in my opinion, be another special jersey made for honoring the USS Utah that sunk in Pearl Harbor. The two ships representing Utah aren't widely known in the history books, but Utah was the first casualty of December 7th and got the Japanese to waste 5 torpedoes at her (she was a training ship at that point in her career and wasn't a battle worthy asset) and the USS Salt Lake City kicked names and took a*s.

Cincinnati has done what they should . They've won all their conference games. Just beat a good SMU team , and have a win against a then top 10 ranked Notre Dame , at Notre Dame . They at least deserve a chance. Bama has a loss to a then unranked in conference opponent in Texas A&M . They barely survived Arkansas today. Next week is the Iron Bowl with Auburn . Next week will be very interesting.

The bigger issue is the "7" points from an offense that is very clearly handicapped by its QB who has never displayed any sustainable flash as a passer. All those 3-and-outs gave the Utes more chances to score

People tend to forget Utah was top 15 in the AP poll pre-season, so this is kinda expected. But this doesn’t mean Oregon just flat out sucks either, both are really good teams. Next week is rivalry week and it’ll shake things up again, but now the committee is forced to put Cincinnati at #4 even though they probably would get smacked by Georgia. So grab your popcorn because if Michigan beats OSU and Auburn beats Alabama and Oklahoma St beats Oklahoma, it would be completely chaotic

Actually it was a great game plan by Utah. They knew Brown could be shaken throwing and had a great defensive scheme. Couple that with knowing Oregons depth chart was thin and would eventually wear down on defense and it worked, twice! Utah's offense was underrated in 2021. They forced teams into being 1 dimensional because the offense scored early and often. They played keep away and kept the defense fresh.

Oregon is quickly becoming the USC of the north. They aren't done losing yet or blowing up skill position players with NCI's either. I can't decide what's more impressive. Until today, I didn't think Cincinatti deserved to be in the top four. However, after their dominant win over SMU and Oregon's loss, I think Cincinatti deserves to be among the top four in the country, along with Georgia, OSU and Alabama. However, it wouldn't surprise me if they remained at #5 and the committee placed Notre Dame in the #4 slot.

With Oregon losing and if Ohio State loses next week, two spots will open up in the top 4 and Cincinnati is ranked 5th so they will move up. As for Michigan beating OSU, that is a long shot and wishful thinking.

Oregon and Washington both been. But is like the same with most conferences. Big Ten has only had OSU and MSU. Big 12 has had just Oklahoma. ACC had Florida State and Clemson. Sec has had Bama, Georgia, LSU. And Notre Dame is just irrelevant. Every conference has really got exposure but just the same 3 or 4 teams make it every year, wish it was a 12 team playoff
