Nope, the black is transparent already, I just went to the wrench tool from the program monitor and made it so you can see it as transparent grid instead of black

You always have great tutorials! I have a process question... For effect#3, when you make each photo 15 seconds long, why didn't you just right-click on the image and change the Speed/Duration to :15.0? Seem shorter than getting the playhead at :15.0 and then stretching out the asset. I'm just wondering if there's a disadvantage I'm overlooking.

You can do either method, when you go to each photo timeline the play head stays at 15 seconds, so stretching the duration out is quite fast
