The vibes from this knocked my phone off the table. Imagine being there in person!

This is the kind of thing that doesn't seem as impressive as it actually is. All 4 players need to be totally in sync, and have perfect timing with each other. It's simply amazing.

As I commented on a video by verybigrifle, I opened a home concert with this piece. All I introduced it as was "Thriller". When I finished, I got a very awkward, confused applause. I had to bring the point up that it was a RAGTIME concert, so no Michael Jackson would be played. Besides, this was written DECADES before Michael Jackson's music was even around!!!

This is how ragtime was supposed to be. Then Joplin changed the opinion of the way of "true" ragtime, though I cannot complain of his true works of art. Originally, ragtime was offensive, fast barrel house music heard through the window of a brick constructed bar and out into the busy streets of Sedalia. To me, there are three types of ragtime: classic, barrelhouse, and novelty.

Thriller? It could not be more thrilling!America must be "god's own country" if music of this quality is still being played for the delectation of those who appreciate REAL music!Thank you for the film!
