In this video, I have explained how to install playwright test runner and setup playwright dependencies.
Setup tsConfig.json || package.json files.
Commands to be executed:
npm install playwright --save-dev
npm install @playwright/test --save-dev
npm install typescript --save-dev
npx tsc --init

What is the different between "@playwright/test": "^1.42.1" and "@playwright": "^1.42.1" ? If i only install playwright, only the dependencies "@playwright/test": "^1.42.1" will be installed

Hi All, Is it required to write all script in only example.specs.ts. As runner option is coming only in this file. No other file that i have created for practice is showing that runner option. Or we have to do any changes in config.ts file to get that option in all files that i am creating for scripting. Please help anyone if you haver idea on it.

With the latest version of playwright installation via "npm init playwright@latest" command It installed below as dev dependencies in the package.json. "@playwright/test": "^1.46.1", Command to check which version is installed npx playwright --version And if you want to update the playwright to latest version npm install -D @playwright/test@latest
