Thanks for your service to humanity young man. When I wake up my right ear is always a constant eeeeeeeeeeeee, and my left ear starts hissing about 10 or 20 mins later. Weired.

I started with a flare up of my tinnitus 4 weeks ago and deterioration of hearing. I need an aid in one ear now. You are absolutely right about habituation. I have periods of the day when I forget I have tinnitus as so busy. I have to try and habituate this new sound and I know it will take a while as it did years ago. I know it is possible as have done it before.

I would absolutely say yes. You can manage to not react to sounds that happen while you eat. But I also say that you should try and see a Physio or Osteopath :) have you listened to my interview with Sara Michaels yet ?
