Dear Judge, bail cannot be denied on the ground of police custody application or identification parade See Old Sec.437 of Cr.P.C. Sec.480 of BNSS When bail may be taken in case of non-bailable offences - In case of non-bailable offences, bail shall not be denied to an accused offence on the ground that he may be required to be identified by witnesses during investigation or his police custody will be required beyond 15 days, provided he is otherwise entitled to bail and gives an undertaking that he shall comply with such directions as may be given by the court.
