I just listened to In Color last night. I still listen to the first 3 CT albums on a semi regular basis. I saw them in 1998 in South Bend, Indiana. Wish I would have seen what you saw a year later

Great picks in this video. I like all of those quite a bit. As far as albums for quick reviews...what about Nick Lowe's "The Impossible Bird"? That one came out in 1994, the same year as Johnny Cash's first "American Recordings" set, and both feature Lowe's 'The Beast In Me'. Very different listening experiences though. "The Impossible Bird" is one of my favorite albums of the 90s. Lowe's voice sounds amazing drenched in reverb.

@@aronpolasek4506 love that suggestion. I picked it up a few months ago and have been looking for an opportunity to talk about it. Thanks!

In the 80s everybody had at least a night or two of Wang Chunging.

Hot take: Love and Rockets is better than Bauhaus. Haven’t really gotten into Angel Olsen. I think she had a track with Sharon Van Etten that I like. Cheap Trick never disappoints. Love In Color. Downed is incredible.

@@Thedarkstuff Agree that Love and Rockets is better. And yeah, Cheap Trick! One of these days they’ll play a club show again or even a casino and get away from the Rod Stewarts, Def Leppards and Journeys.

@@lostmixtapes I’d actually go to a Def Leppard/Cheap Trick show.

@@Thedarkstuff I would if I had a free ticket, but those big shows seldom do much for me.
