switched in january after more than 20 years with nikon. Im totaly happy! d850 with 85mm1.4 around 2000g. fuji xt4 with 50mm1.0 around 900g, its with me 24/7.

@@SteamSyndicate Oh the 50mm 1.0. Sweet. You seem to be happy about it. When I look at my DSLR's with lenses and grips on the shelves besides my Fuji's there's no comparison. They look like heavy monster trucks. I stopped using them when I was in the snowy mountains in France and I drowned in the snow because the backpack was so heavy. My legs and feet almost froze to death because there was a river underneath. Never again. I prefer a light camera. There's only one SLR I still appreciate a lot, my film Pentax Super A. This thing is so small and light even compared to a Fuji X20.

First, I will never get tired of watching film get loaded. Second, I shoot Sony right now and absolutely love my a7iii, but Fuji has been calling my name recently. The designs, value, and the different workflow Fuji seems to offer fits in my current mindset for shooting. Since I started messing with film cameras I don’t want to mess with setting menus anymore, I just want to create. I switched to Fuji (from Nikon) and I'm so happy I did. I'm not into film, but compared to other digital brands Fuji has seriously impressed me. My one complaint: Fuji lenses can get expensive... still, the gear is great value for money. Love the videos. Much love!

Fuji cameras are great! I recently got a x100s and use it for all my personal work! Want to switch for my commercial work to but in low light (concert photography) full frame does have a clear advantage. Not really sure if Fuji APSC can stand its ground in bad lit venues.

Ok ... I have tons of experience with Fuji and will throw down some pointers . First if you want to do portraits the 90 f2 is your friend ... its insanely tack sharp with nice backgrounds. its a perfect studio lens But here is the real tip ... there is a one of a kind Fuji lens - the 35 F1.4 which I and others have coined the term " the magic lens " . this is a special low element count throwback type optical masterpiece based on the sonnar design, its almost worth buying into Fuji for this lens alone.

Colors can be adjusted in PS. An XT-4 is serious kit within its limitations but with just the 56mm prime, at 2700$ US, it falls at the high end of APS-c equipment and overlaps full frame options. Comes down to usage. "Looks cool" is suitable logic behind a colorway of shoes for hanging out, not for a tool to get a job done. I'll take a camera that has great balance and is perfect in hand any day.

you gotta check out the original canon 5d, the colors from that thing are pretty amazing too and the body can be found for around $50! definitely would like to hear your thoughts on it, especially since you can combine amazing colors with shallower depth of field from a full frame sensor, where as fuji's amazing colors can't be combined with really shallow DOF unless you drop $5k on a medium format.
