Solo Leveling was a massive manhwa within the manhwa community, it brought so many people to the wonderful world of reading manhwa so it's great to see that the anime is doing it justice.

I'm not familiar with the source material, but it seems like this is the rare adaptation that satisfies most of the original fans.

There is a reason for Jin-Woo's physical and even mental changes ... but it's not revealed until the end of Volume 7 of the novelization, so ... enjoy the ride.

Now I'm curious. But at least there's a reason for it beyond just they wanted to make him look cooler or something.

I saw the manhua narrated here on KZbin. It's the whole reason I started to watch the anime. I still haven't read the light novels, I may get to that, but I did purchase all of the physical copies of the manhwas from Amazon. It's a good story, with intrigue and politics mixed in with the action and adventure. Something most action/shounen series lack. Looking forward to the rest of the series, really hope they animate the entire series.

Huh, I didn't know about the light novels. The show's a hit, so I'm also hoping they give us the whole series.

the #1 reason for the shows popularity is that the manhwa was one of the most popular ever.

I read an article the other day saying that Solo Leveling's success is going to open up the floodgates for a lot more manhwa adaptations.

Thanks for the video. This is one of those shows this season where's there's so much noise about it, that I couldn't get a sense of whether it's something I should be watching or not, if that makes sense. I think I'll probably give it a chance now.

That sounds like how I felt about The Eminence in Shadow. I still haven't gotten around to that one.

I think it's a well-made example of its genre. If you like video game in real life shows with gory action, then give it a watch; if you're not a fan of the genre, then I'm not sure this one will change your mind.

The story was at best okay. Not sure why everyone thinks this is amazing. Lots and lots of stories tell this sort of RPG power system. I think the first character design was the best. They could have just made him slowly get more muscular but it's like a totally different character that doesn't even have the same facial structure. A good 7/10 show.

It is weird to see him be this totally different person just a few episodes in. I don't dislike the new guy--he's just different. It makes me wonder what he'll be like by the end of the show.

@@littleorphananimeYT I miss his first hair style. It had character. New guy looks like any black haired MC.

Simply can’t stand power fantasies with RPG systems They r automatically 0/10 for me

@@septimus4762 I get that if you are thinking in terms of most of the Isekai anime. The book series, The Good Guys by Eric Ugland and it's mirror The Bad Guys, takes a real fleshed out fantasy world and throws in Earth humans, gives them powers and sets them loose.
