There's also embroidery and cross stitch. Stab fabric for as long as you'd like. Punch needle is anything but relaxing to me.

There's also needle felting, that's a socially acceptable form of stabbing! But to be fair, it's way less portable than punch needle embroidery.

People are asking about fabric being used as a crafter of punch and stitch "AIDA." I believe that is what she is using.
@TheUrbanAcres3 ай бұрын
It's actually monks cloth! It's similar to Aida, but Aida is too stiff and small of weave, so it will rip if you try to punch with it.

So I have no clue about this form of art but I have a question. I see the one that they do with a gun and the rugs come out so fluffy but this is like knots. What will happen if after you seal the back cut all the knots from the front and trim them to become fluffy?

She's uploading videos to social media for attention, obviously she cares about being accepted. In fact the majority of people care about being accepted. That's considered "normal." Of course there are far more interesting things to care about than what other people think, let alone about someone they don't even know as if their opinions even matter, but it's not the same for everyone. Life would really suck if we were all the same.

Relaxing? LOL. I first tried punch needle a few years ago and was easy peasy. But then, I was too busy and didn't pick it up again until yesterday. I buy a small ornament size kit from Hobby Lobby...disaster. I have tried at least 7 different size needles with enclosed acrylic yarn. It either slides too easily or its too tight and either way, loops won't form. I also believe the fabric (100% cotton embroidery fabric) may be inappropriate. Now it has a bunch of holes and i can no longer do punch needle loops....so i am going to have to do regular embroidery stitches with it. I will try again but already at my wits end after watching tons of punch needle videos and following all instructions and tips for beginners....nothing works.🙄
