PayMelnPaella, you are a man with wisdom. Malaysia has low gun ownership among ASEAN members. Free from major natural disasters like earthquake & typhoon. English speaking population. Malaysia ranked no 3 interm of per capita income after Singapore & Brunei.

I'm a Malaysian Chinese & have been living here for more than 50 years. The cost of education & medical care here is affordable.Besides that,a middle class family can afford to buy a house & car.I'm thankful for these privileges.

@PayMeInPaella I really enjoyed it. Food wasn't as spicy as i like, but if you like Italian and Greek food you love it there. Very kind people, I was never scammed while there and when I asked I was told "it's not in our nature". Mass transit isn't as developed as S.E.A. and no services like Bolt or Grab. But the entire country is 1/3 the size of my hone state (Oklahoma), so it's pretty easy to travel around in a cab. Very favorable visa, U.S. citizens can stay without a visa for up to one year. I guess the only downside is the nightlife isn't as lively as Thailand and Vietnam, but I've grown out of that.

@@PayMeInPaella Politeness and good manners are not only lessons taught in schools but are also deeply rooted in our religion, Islam, and other faiths as well. In our culture, we hold manners in the highest regard, and this value is strongly reinforced through the unique approach of Asian parenting.

Hey bruh, welcome to Malaysia. Just to let you know Malaysia is currently ranked 10th in the world on the peaceful index. There are so many westerners that have moved here, making it their base as they travel throughout Asia. Also, KL is the 9th most liveable city in the world, as recently voted by expats worldwide. Do check out your fellow American youtubers here - Nomad Capitalist, Ben Fishermin, Traveling Solo logs, Travel with Chris, and a couple of sistas, Cha Jones and Queen of DC. They'll give you a quick insight into what we're all about. Btw, we were a British colony for more than 200 yrs until we gained independence in 1957. And before that was the Dutch and Portuguese. And yeah, Malaysians are famous for paying for visitors, especially food as food is our love language. So get used to it. Lol. English is widely spoken but do keep in mind we have millions of migrant workers here doing the 3D jobs that locals just don't wanna do anymore. And they're English might not be so good hence you might get brushed aside when you ask them anything. Anyway, looking forward to more of your videos here in the future. Stay safe bruh.

1:40 not indonesian influence, its 'Malay' influence malaysian causine is one of the best in the world, malaysia in 'Malacca' (olden days) once the world's trade port of trading (china, india, middle east, europe), so they trade alot of things including spices, causine, ingredients the fusion came from chinese, indian food, middle eastern... but the food here taste better because of malay influenced taste eventually elevate the causine it self (through) u can even say the chinese food and indian food here can sometimes better than in the original country's where its originated (exposed with variety of ingredients and spices and taste) because of the trading culture, malay as a race are open to explore and experiment things, and open to other races and welcoming (not mono culture) multiculturalism before the west adopt that system ... one of the reason why our food is one of the best causine in the world. we take the best and leave the rest and make it better the country is muslim majority people, theyre majority conservative and polite, respectful.. family oriented country
