Amazing! 15 years ago I stoped using PowerPoint for presentations. Recently I was kindly asked to help another person with PowerPoint. I saw a lot of rubbish PP tutorials and I felt the same frustration again. You give me (and my designer heart) a lot of confidence, that I will be able to support and encourage the person who asked in creating not only informative but also beautiful and engaging slides. I find it very helpful to visualize various layers, and I didn't know this option before. Further, it really makes it much easier to work with complex slides with many items when you re-name these items. Thank you again for these great tips.

I still Cannot find arrange and reorder object although i am using the latest version of 365. For your information, The small thumbnails in the slide master view beneath the main one are called slide layouts, not the master slide. So you created a new slide layout, not a new master slide. Although most of the topics was'nt new to me i still want to thank you for the insightful tips i've receved from you so far. I truly appreciate it. Thank You Sir!

Hi. I’ve only just learned it’s a feature for Mac and not Windows. If you have windows you can always open the selection pane. Same principle but less cool of a feature

Hi, you will need a more recent version of ppt. I’m using office 365 myself (the 2021 version currently). You can also use PowerPoint online for free if you want. This has more functions 👍

Master Slides. It's a good practice to never alter the built-in childs of the master slides (see e.g. Nuts and Bolts for the reasons). Never ever. Just add them.
