to stay fit and healthy, pressure free atmosphere is important.. Pressure sucks up our energy and leaves us dry and empty.... In india, pressure at school, workplace, family relationships is considered as normal... And thats the problem...

Even in Japan there is immense pressure everywhere starting school but their value systems are strong and also they do a lot of things on their own like walking and doing things at home. Definately u may be right but having a positive mindset can make us better.

I have been living in Japan for over 4 years and I would like to correct you there. While the first two are correct, the third one is slightly incorrect. They also have great genes. They do drink a lot and consume a lot of rice. If, I as an Indian were to eat the same amount of rice as they do, I would not be looking healthy. They do use smaller plates but they eat many types of dishes in those small plates. By that I mean, they will have a plate for fish, a bowl of miso, a plate for pickles, a plate for salad and consume extremely large amount of rice (atleast 2 times a day). It’s more about creating a balance in a standard Japanese meal and they focus their meals largely on protein and something that benefits their gut (miso, natto, etc). Having said that, they consume alcohol everyday and consume a lot of rice but they do walk a lot at the same time plus have great genes which is a great factor as well.

Japanese food is the healthiest I’ve come across. I just came back from spending a month in Japan, and I realised how unhealthy my ordinary desi diet was. The food is soooo light and digestible, but also nourishing. You never feel heavy or have indigestion, but feel energetic and clear minded with their diet. They eat so much raw, steamed or boiled food. It made me realise how addicted to oil we are, and how unnecessary it is to make delicious food.

Mental health is the biggest problem in Japan.. Many people lock them for years in a single room.. People deliberately disappear from the society & even police dont know where have they gone.they do not even leave suicide note.... Japan has a village where everyone is more than 60yrs old & , those old people live with human sized doll bcz they are so lonely.. People marry themselves bcz they are not able to find right partner & it happens bcz the societg has set very high standard for marriage.... Children who faced bullying in school & colleges, remains aloof for the whole life..they mostly lock themselves in their houses... High suicide rate is the biggest problem, even school children of 9-10yr age commit suicide..

Get yr facts right. Kids take the metro alone from age 6 . But yes they have to walk to the train station . Japanese also take the Metro to the office. But even then they have to walk quite a bit. Cars are not feasible as parking fees is s very very high. Japanese have oolong tea not green tea. Their main diet is fish and rice which helps in keeping weight in check Japanese can eat quite a lot. Ask me how I know; I lived there for 41/2,yrs.
