3 Seeburg Jukebox Tony Miller Magnet Fix

I just looked at the Sunstar Mechanism and learned WHY it stopped working. According to Seeburg Expert Tony Miller, there are 4 common problems with Seeburg Jukeboxes and this is number 4: how to fix Seeburg jukebox when the record will not reject at the end of the song.

Bought a Seeburg STD3 Sunstar Jukebox for $50 from a storage unit. No clue about the condition or history of this jukebox. Documenting this Seeburg Jukebox Restoration Project from the start - no script - just rambling. Goal is to help other novice Seeburg Jukebox restorers get a feel for what I am doing.

Thanks for your video. I bought an older Seeburg 1961 and spent a few months getting it going. THIS kind of info is going to be very useful to keep Jukes out of the scrap yard.

un-fricken-ba-leav-able so im going through vids just for the heck of it to find a fix on my 1974 wurlitzer coin mech - so i fixed that prob - i also love watching other vids - i have a seeburg LP 33 home unit and just yesterday it started rejecting the records over and over - i was going to look into this but lo and behold you made me curious - i looked and yep - the magnet was in the same spot yours was in - thank you soooo much!!!!

djpaulywood by the way someone mentioned a poor design - not really because thats how they made money fixing the units - service calls!

I found you video very informative - Unfortunately it didn't fix my problem. I have my father Seeburg SS160, it has been sitting in my basement since he passed. I would like to get it working again. I believe the amp is completely shot so I need to locate one of those, but the first problem is it doesn't eject. I looked and the magnet is still there! If I flip up the manual release on the carriage it will eject. Before I spend the money on the AMP I would like to get it functioning. Any suggestions? Also when the carriage moved it is very loud. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought this very machine std3. Mine lights up, but does nothing. I found a 14 contact relay laying in the bottom. Im assuming it vibrated out on the way home. Im assuming it goes in the top panel somewhere. Also there is a seeburg programmer card laying it the bottom that is chewed up, and the card is missing from the digitial reciever and recorder unit. How deep am i into this?

Upon further inspection, the digital receiver has no contacts on the card for the programmer card to mate too. Also this board has a prom chip on it, so I'm assuming the boards have been up dated in this machine and the programming card isn't needed any longer.

MY SEEBURG LS1 PICK UP THE RECORD AND REJECT IT WITHOUT PLAYING IT . DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO

Sometimes the reset switch stay's locked, pull out the plug and try if it play

Restore the clutch cleaning and look for damage all contacts switches succes
