How the hell was Caputo able to travel so frequently and acquire so many jobs (in different countries and cities), marry, have children, start families and obtain fraudulent identities? It's simply baffling the amount of stuff he was able to do and get away with.

in the 70's you could fly on false names , drivers licences were stolen or faked and it was so easy to conceal identities.

twomindz79 Yeah, totally true. In pretty much before 9/11 traveling with false identities was a much easier task. Especially in the 70's and years prior. It still baffles me in this day and age some people still find a way to be so evasive with different aliases.

Hood Kings: "How was he able to acquire so many women is what puzzles me" Apparently, quite a few women are turned on by the crazies, no matter how vehemently they deny it. Perhaps some women find the drama and unpredictability that comes with volatile men paradoxically addictive. Who knows? That Dr. Judith is a good example. She may not have been in a romantic relationship with Caputo. But one would think a doctor who treated a psychotic patient who stabbed his wife to death would be rational about who she'd spend time with. Apparently not. Some women have weird fetishes, such as Serial Killer Groupies. Yeah, google that term.

KhukuriGod Yeah but guys are turned on by pornstars that sell their bodies to the highest bidder. How can ordinary girls compete with pornstars? My theory is girls are much more mentally attracted to people so when they come across someone twisted or crazy it interests them. Don't become a serial killer to get dates... just deal with the fact that you're not as interesting as a serial killer.

I think the biggest thing going for channels like this. Is the fact that it doesn't have to last a hour. So they don't repeat everything at least 3 times. More often it's 5 or 6 times just to make it run for the allotted time.

There are thousands of children going missing every day. How do you propose they follow all these up and continue to stop all the other crime going on? The vast majority of missing children, by the way, turn out to be nothing. They've just gone to a friend's house or run away for a day or three. It's just not practical, or even possible, to follow up on these cases.
@destanywindham8318
@destanywindham8318 6 жыл бұрын
Skindoggiedog they take missing children more serious today than they have been because people didn’t believe those types of things could happen. saddly there are hundreds NEVER found that are put into sex trafficking and/or murdered as well as young adults. They do not have time to do it all therefore they go cold and the public should be familiar with their local missing persons cases! Spreading the word and awareness is how the public can contribute and help these families A lot of people don’t think twice and really should

ALL children should be required to take self defense classes from 1st grade on up. Not only does it help train kids to control their anger, but self defense taught until it is second nature gives them some chance against pedophiles, kidnappers, abusers, and whoever else is out there with violence in mind. We should do EVERYTHING as a country and a world to help children navigate a dangerous life.

As tactical as this sounds, it's also terrible and traumatic for children to be taught about these things from an early age. It can make them develop phobias, severe anxieties, and even schizophrenia later in life. We really should not be living in a world like this at all. This approach is like teaching women about self defense so they don't get raped and/or killed by some asshole who thinks they deserve sex and praise from women - when really we need to tell men just not to rape.
@christineparis5607
@christineparis5607 2 жыл бұрын
@@chrissyweaver3475 I hear you, and I agree, on paper, but real life is way too tough for the average person already, not giving them any survival skills is like dropping them off in a desert without water....every 30 seconds, someone commits suicide. Every minute, a woman is beaten and/or raped. Not doing anything to give them a chance, just because men aren't supposed to rape, is going to work. We have to face the facts, which is that it IS happening, every minute, and until people stop raping and beating and having serious mental disorders and personality issues, while also creating and raising kids, it's a crime to give them no chance. I was raised in an affluent neighborhood by parents who thought they gave me everything, including innocence and no way to tell if I were in danger. They didn't destroy my innocence, being raped did, though. I was in no way to blame, and neither were they, except I wish every single day I had known what to do, how to avoid the danger, been angry that my parents constantly pretended that everything was wonderful. I have to live with it, and I made sure I would never go through it again. The guy didn't get punished, because they almost never do. It's just a fact. Any google search will show you horrifying stats. Yeah, it shouldn't happen, but it does, so let's face it. I know it's just my opinion, but since "the impossible" happened to me, I'd rather have had some way to deal that wasn't ignorance.

Yes it is heartbreaking to know what happens to people who are just living their lives in peace. The narrator also highlights the selfishness of these perpetrators when he quotes their messages and confessions - they're main concern is to feel better about what they did and secondly to perhaps admit to the survivors who harmed their loved one. But they also mention feeling guilty yet their focus is still on themselves.

I grew up in Los Angeles and have been driving on those freeways my entire life… Listening to the last case has fundamentally changed the way I feel about that forever. I had heard urban legends of people being buried underneath the freeways in LA, but to know the truth behind it and even worse to know that they are children and teenagers that were murdered and buried… Is horrifying and surreal to say the least. Great, informative content! 🙏🏼

I was in a very, very bad car accident when I was 12 and woke up a different person, too. Unfortunately, it's rather common. It fucked up my life for a really long time, but with therapy, meds, and the passing of years, I've made vast strides. Although I'll be on meds for the rest of my days, I live a ridiculously normal life without any problems. I hope your nephew is able to overcome his issues, as well. It's a very hard road.

Not necessarily the case. She could just be unidentified still because she was missing from somewhere far away, the family doesn't have the adequate resources, or maybe she didn't really have family. I hope that baby is safe and ok though.

I think Ford was killing before he was married..in his early 20s. They have these two cases from the same long stretch of beach in California.This happened in the mid 80s a male and his girl friend were murdered and the woman had her breast removed. A few months later two females who had camped out on the beach, only 50 meters from the last murder were found dead the next morning.One had a breast removed and it was apparent that it was a blitz attack in their sleep.They were able to tell that it was one attacker. They have held some details back regarding some other types of gross acts done after they were deceased. A lot of individuals believe this is Fords real first attacks. It’s very interesting that the FBI became involved in these cases after Ford starting talking.

Thanks for another great content posting! I'd love to support your channel if you open up an avenue with which to do so (aside from utilizing sponsors, which I do!) I would love to see you be able to put some more time into this and be able to kick out an extra video or two per week, perhaps utilizing a new format or so. Either way, keep us informed and think about it! I'm sure many others would support your endeavors, while there are A LOT of channels like this on KZbin, few are as GREAT in every area as yours! Your accuracy of info, attention to detail, Narration tone/pace/feel (absolutely key! Most channels need to be set to 1.25x speed), and even your visual elements are all on point. Regardless, thanks for what you do to entertain us, and know that we GREATLY APPRECIATE YOU!

If this guy Edwards turned himself in when the police were clueless and confessed to murders of innocent children, why would he not confess to others if he had done them? Seems to me the police are assuming a lot and being lazy. Killers will confess to murders they did not do to add to their notoriety--for example, if they're trying to "impress" a cell mate. Killers who get caught may refuse to take "credit" for other victims, but again, I doubt a killer who turns himself in and confesses would just randomly leave a few out.
