He does have the purest qualities and name
The angels are singing the name of Hussain
Tonight is the night when the devils are cursed

He taught us to stand for the truth without fear,
To hold to our faith when oppression draws near,
Through trials and hardship, his path is so clear
A guide for the faithful, forever sincere
The heavens rejoice on this radiant night
A star has been born with a heavenly light
The grandson of mercy, a source of delight
Imam of devotion, defender of right
No crown can compare to his station on Earth
The ark of salvation, the lantern of truth,
A guide for the old and a model for youth.
Through him we will find both our honour and proof,
That justice will triumph, unwavered and smooth.
The door at which all of the angels salute
A refuge for everyone that's destitute
Not even his worst enemies can dispute
His virtues are endless, his light absolute
A blessing bestowed for the people of Earth
He has dedicated his life’s every deed
In love of Allah and for humanity
Personification of nobility
Of righteousness, of love and of purity
His name with everything good goes hand in hand
To love those who love him is Allah’s command
His praises are sung out across every land
His character and status are very grand
His name will be called out by the whole universe
