I think the very fact that women are often perceived to be gentle, emotional and vulnerable is what made it easier for them to get away with murder back in the day.

We're told that our present day is horrific times, but let's face it, "the good old days" never really existed. Another way of saying the same thing: times change; people don't. The so-called end times have always been an apropos sentiment throughout human history. Cruelty and injustice marches on.

How have I never heard of the Italian woman before? That is twisted indeed! I wonder what her motive was. Sounds like a whole lot of work went into her misdeeds.
@LinChanMai3 жыл бұрын
She believed she was cursed. She killed the women to protect her son who had enlisted. If he ate the cakes and was bathed with the soap he would be protected. It didn’t turn out ”right” the first two times so that’s why there were three victims. If you want more info I would recommend Stephanie Harlowes videos on the case.

"La Saponificatrice di Correggio" didn't do it for any "sacrificial nonsense" but to rob women's savings. Greed was her motive. She lied about her own social status and economic condition, befriended these women (she even opened a small business), invited them and voilà, money. She had the impudence to sell the soap she made out from the corpses.🤮 Kudos for finding the story, well known here in Italy but rarely abroad.

I knew Frank . Man, he was a hell of a lawyer. If his client was wealthy, and he dealt with street people, he could get anyone off regardless of the DA's evidence. The Stanislaus county DA absolutely despised the man. *He got rich drug dealers off, not murders. So, not only did they arrest him and several CHP officers for the murder, they arrested his wife, his daughter (who ran the office). Basically, they arrested all these totally innocent people to close his firm; there were two cases in particular the DA wanted kicked to a different lawyer. The only evidence was a jailhouse snitch who, later admitted, to fabricating most of his story. Shame, he died months after getting exonerated. I highly recommend people check that out.

Wait, what? How can Belle be the first American female serial killer when Delphine was born in 1787 in New Orleans about 70 years before Belle? Given Delphine's birthdate and place, Eileen Wournos would not be the first female serial killer "born and bred" in America either. Dagmar and Leonarda are the most repugnant women I've ever heard of!
