1.The four agreements 2.A man's search for meaning 3.When breath becomes air (he cried)
@IsaacJrDevelops2 жыл бұрын
Man's Search for Meaning is a book everyone should read. It gave me insight on suffering and how we control what makes our life meaningful. The biggest take away I got from the book was : When reality does not meet expectation -> suffering. We cannot control reality but we can control our expectations/perception of reality. We as individuals ultimately, get to decide what makes our life meaningful.

I read the Great Gatsby, and for me it was so illuminating as a book. It's like you feel how lonely men can be, even if they are surrounded by people, but these people are not the one we want to be there, these people are not the ones that matter to us the most.

The best book I've ever red is written 1937 ! by Napoleon Hill titled "Think and grow rich". I would have named this book "Visualize and get the abundance", since it is not only about getting rich. The book is full of psychological concepts, success concepts, and much more. Hill interviewed 500 successful entrepreneurs and inventors like: Thomas Alva Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, George Eastman, Henry Ford, and much more. His book describes the concepts, all these successfull men had in common.

Ciao Stefan. I have read 2 out of 3 books and they are really great. Thanks again. They also came in my life in the right moment. Another book that came in the right moment is - Power vs force. The hidden determinants of human behaviour by David R. Hawkins. It is a bit out of range (280 pages) but is a huge book. All the best wishes to you and keep up the good work!

One short book that changed my life: Don't sweat the small stuff. In a world which is heavily focused on individualism this books offers an unique perspective to be more kind and emphatic to others. It offers some small ''exercises'' too. Definitely recommended.

Amazing picks! I've read the first two, and they had a similar impact on my life. I'm gonna check out the third one as well for sure. Also, I remember you once told me this Confucius quote a while back when I was struggling with my health and I had to prioritize taking care of myself. It really stuck with me then, and it was nice seeing it here again. - Orhan

Thanks for those recommendations! Definetely trying out the first book you mentioned! The last agreement was nice to hear because I am in a situation which i cant really influence and just have to wait. Nethertheless we have to do our best, no matter in what circumstances we are. So I am trying to improve my English skills (and give this video an algorithm boost :)) with a comment under some videos and also reading books in English which can develop my personality. Maybe one day I am able to become a freelancer too by creating my own business. But for that goal it´s indispensable to build some fresh skills and thats for now my main goal while studying :) Thanks for your suggestions! :)

Beautiful. Purpose of life generally defined by me is that we are made to work for each other and stay alive by motivating each other to do so, those who bring pleasure to majority and make them want to live are most rewarded (musicians, entrepreneurs, actors, content creators, people on high positions (they use false hope mostly... now it's up to person to agree or not), bad stuff is also needed cause if you don't have it you don't have comparison, which seems as bad design if you ask me. Negative people are least rewarded, cause they make people not want to live. That's just my guess and theory, doesn't mean I'm right. I know i have purpose, but having purpose doesn't mean much to me, it only means i'm made to be used (work and contribute to live cause we have human needs). But hey, at least we are programmed to love doing something and in process being useful to community.

Or those old movie shots... where do you get those? Thanks ahead!

I'm going to allow myself replying to you brother and anyone who reads this, I believe that Quran is the best book ever made, written and delivered. The point is yeah -> In Quran, Allah Almighty says: “I have created the jinn and humankind only for My worship.” (Quran, 51:56) However, “I have created the jinn and humankind only for My worship.” is one of the most deepest concepts in Quran if not the most! It's not that simple like just using it to prove a point! Thank for reading, an peace! You'll get it, once you get it! ...н𝔞𝔰𝔰𝔞𝔫 ᗩ𝔯𝔡𝔞𝔟
