There is a reason why one should not connect the brushes terminals directly to the output of an alternator to self excite it. However, i will give you a thumb up for your hard work .

If you were to put a much larger pulley on the 12volt motor would that increase the voltage out of the alternator since the alternator shaft will be spinning twice as fast🤔?

You forgot to inform that the alternator naturally produces alternating current, the items on the rear, the circles, are diode trios, the convert the alternating current to direct current.

Higher volts can be achieve according to the alternator specs as much as 14.0volts but the Wattage will be an restrictions issue as the Ampere also playing a part of the circuit system. The best way is running at constant rpm speed to achieves that 14volts DC and the output to supply to an inverter which could provide 240v with at least 1,000 Watt output.

Removing the pulley from these units is best accomplished with a pneumatic impact gun to get the nut off, then using a puller tool to remove the pulley. Any other method is just too difficult.

OK for a demo ......But never put this alternator back on a vehicle after repairing it like this. The field rotor should have been dismantled and the winding renewed if the inner lead is broken. If it was the outer lead that was broken then as a minimum, one turn can be un wind and solder back at the commutator.

OPEC is not going to like this. They could ban the manufacture of car alternators for petroleum powered cars and have all cars be electric. Best to go to the junk yard and strip all the car alternators you can find. They will be worth a fortune.
